nah i felt kinda offended, cuzz i was looking for Major 4th season to pick cuzz it's like my favorite anime, then i was like..."oh well, it's a baseball anime, so i'm sure alot of peeple dont watch it", then i was like "sunred then, i'll go with that one" then i got a kick in the nuts, and that one wasn't there either, then this was my face like.... 😮

but it's straight, i liked R2 enough not to cry about it, but on another note.....how long did it take you to put this poll together, looks like it took a minute, like the thread though you should make one everyear

I was looking to see Junjo Romantica in the list, but I don't... not series 1 nor the 2nd .. because that was my fav, and I can't pick 🙁

No Yaoi/Shounen-ai in my poll, missy! 😛 Antique Bakery and Monochrome Factor are excluded for the same reason. Aren't there enough anime to choose from? I hope you don't watch anime solely for the Yaoi. You're missing out on a lot of good stuff! And yeah, I excluded the Yaoi and Yuri ones. Well, at least I think it was a Yuri one; called Koihime Musou. I haven't watched it, but that's what the series' page said.

Don't realy watch that much anime... and I want a new season of Mushishi 🙁

Anyways,

Kaiba would have to be my pick of last year.

Honourable mentions include Spice & Wolf, Kurenai and Natsume Yuujinchou.

I still have Mouryou no Hako, Ef and Aria sitting in my hard drive, but have not watched them yet.

@Doc:
I don't think you should include series that are still running (eg: Michiko & Hatchin or ToraDora)..... and you didn't include my favourite comedy of last year, Noramimi. (not my fault no one subbed it for you) >:-(

I listed all anime that started in 2008. So yeah, they technically do belong with the 2008 anime. Anyways, with 12 episodes you can surely make an good assesment of what you think of the series.

Kohime Musou wasn't exactly yuri. It just had a lot of subtext, and a few lesbian characters. I'd actually put it on about the same level for yuri content as Ikki Tousen: Great Guardians, which was included.

As for my opinion, the clear winer in my mind is Code Geass R2. It's not even close.
