I've been reading this manga "Strawberry Panic!" and i just love it.

it's my first shoujo ai manga I've red and that's why it's kinda precious to me, after reading it I wanted to read more Shoujo ai, and Yuri, but I just can't find one to my liking, maybe because I'm not looking in the right places.

Most of the shoujo ai and Yuri I've read after Strawberry Panic turned to be very boring with just blushing little girls, but then again also some kind of angsty shit with childhood dramas, where everyone's been raped at least ones and so on.
And there was the manga where a boy turns to a girl and there's UFO's and suddenly the girl finds out she's gonna die and -shit! I just hate that kind of confusing stuff, so please something more realistic!

Well.. it's summer and I'm still young, and not too depressed at the moment.
Still everytime I read yuri, it's more like hentai, and there just isn't enought girls love at the moment in my life, so I ask your help.
To make it more simple I want girls love with following things:

-a plot (I mean c'mon, there has to be at least one with it, no?)
-not too childish but not too mature either (like high school love)
-It just turn you on (not in a perverted way, cause I'm not looking for hentai, but there still must be the something)
-different types of people (Not only cow-women with D-cups, I mean really..)
-I don't want it to be too angsty, but sometimes drama is okay, when there' s also comedy in it

I hope it's not too much to ask! I just really want to see this kind of manga, not only read fanfiction. Please help me and save my summer!

Oh, and btw, I've heard this rumor Strawberry Panic's gonna be a live action. CAn somebodu confirm this? And is there any live action or asian drama with girls love?

Love My Life, is certainly a good read. And yeah, Lililicious have some good yuri/shoujo ai with plot. Try their site.

That UFO one you described is probably...well I can't remember the title, was pretty good actually, if lot's of different things happening isn't your thing I guess I can understand you not liking it.

It is Kashimashi (at least I think).
I don't know the manga, but the anime was good. It was not confusing at all, the guy just became a girl and noone was gonna die (at least in the anime).

And my little 2 cent (sorry I'm not very fond of the genre so I can't be much help)

Kannazuki no Miko is my favourite shoujo ai story, the anime is good, but I can't guarantee for the manga. Just remind that I also like Kashimashi so maybe our tastes are different.

Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito same as above. But for this many friends say the manga was not good at all.

These are my two favorites.

Strawberry Shake Sweet: It's a love comedy, and it actually is quite funny at times.
Girl friends: Tends to be more dramatic, with the main character being confused over her feelings for another girl.

Most yuri I've read tends to be one-shots or very short serial. I've never seen yuri run in a weekly publication, so having a long-running plot is problematic.

Edit: Another manga suggestion: I believe no one has mentioned HayateXBlade yet. 🙂

For live action, well the manga Love My Life was adapted into a movie of the same name not too long ago, and it's supposed to be quite good, though I haven't watched it. Also, the live action version of Negima had some KonoSetsu moments. I haven't heard any news about a Strawberry Panic! live action version. It'd be great if there's really going to be one though!

As for shows that aren't anime/manga related, I haven't watched many, but the Japanese drama Ren'ai Shindan has 3 episodes focusing on girls' love. Then there are movies like Spider Lilies which have the 2 female protagonists in love with each other, but as I said, I haven't watched many of these type of shows.
