The man killed his father because he was such a coward and didnt want to go to war. In doing this he dishonored his father by making it seem as a suicide. Thats not counting causing his country to collapse and become what it was at the beginning of the series. Then he goes about acting like he is so right while the Japanese who are trying to win back thier freedom are murderous, war hungry villains. He had the gall to join the other countries army.

I just hope to god my country never produces such a person. heck I wouldn't wish this on my enemy.

As a fictional potential successor to Hitler, the mangaka did a hell of a job making me hate his guts. I was pretty disappointed that his life was spared.

Hon'iden Matahachi from Vagabond.

SOB tried to pass himself off as Sasaki Kojiro by looting money and the scroll from a dead guy (Kojiro's childhood friend no less). And when he was cought in his lie what did he do, try and exploit the fact that Kojiro was deaf and make it seem he was the only one who could communicate with him. Even tried to pass himself off as Musashi to screw some chick. He didn't even have the balls to go back and inform his mom or fiance that he left them, instead trusting Musashi to do it for him. Oh yeah, and he burned that one dojo down after guzzling all their sake.

Uh, it took me long to come up with hated characters. But, 'ere they are:

1. Lenalee Lee from D.Gray-man as she annoys the hell out of me, by just being herself.
2. Sakura from Naruto is the same as Lenalee >.< Ugh!
3. Light Yagami form Death Note. I understand having justice complex/god complex, but combining those two together... 😔

I think you missed the point. Light wasn't a hero. He wasn't even an anti-hero. Death Note has the distinction of being a story told from the point of the villain. How many other manga have had evil buggers with god complexes who're convinced they serve a higher justice and that the end justifies the means for villains? It's a very common villain archetype. And yes, I don't like him much either.

I meant hero as a substitute word for 'character', if that's what you're thinking about 😉
