1. Hot blooded woman - one of the first manhwas i read, some really great characters and moments
2. Miyuki - shares the first place on my list with hbw, in my oppinion the best adachi manga with a really great ending
3. Fruits Basket - nuff said
4. Maison Ikkoku - contains some extremely funny stuff, although i miss the voiceacting for "Godai-Kun" (as spoken by Yotsuya)
5. School Rumble - Beats even Azumanga Daioh in its funnynes
6. Ranma - been a while since i read that, one of my first mangas ever read, but it remained in my memory as an allstar... plus it contains the mighty happosai sama
7. Touch - same as ranma (except i ahvent finished reading it yet)
8. Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou - i got to read it cause i was so dissapointed that the anime was discontinued, just glad someone picked up scanlating it again

omg there are so many more id need to include in place nr 5.... Hana Yori Dango, several other adachi manga, inuyasha, vagabond, Shin Angyo Onshi... well the list could be long

However i just love the way the author of gantz manipulates the storyline and just gives it twitsts all the time.

kare kano, i love this because it tells a really boring story in a really great way. and new characters get introduced all the time, and it keeps being interesting

azumanga, king of comedy

Hikaru no go, it got me into go, wich is like a good thing, and other then that, the best character developments i have ever seen.

Its virtually impossible for me to divide this just into five manga. I've been thinking about it for the last few days, and here are the ones I have come up with.

These are in no specific order, either.

**Angel Sanctuary.

Hajime no Ippo.

One Piece.

Shounan Junai Gumi/Great Teacher Onizuka** (I have combined these are GTO takes place almost immediatly after SJG, and they should be considered one manga, as the main character is the same throughout).

Full Metal Alchemist.

Damn, this was very hard to come up with, I do like alot of manga, however, I don't feel like something such as Naruto should be on here. Naruto is an excellent manga, but, it hasn't reached total greatness yet. I feel all of the aforementioned have reached that.

Angel Sanctuary for its beautiful artwork, and emotional yet often taboo story.

Hajime no Ippo for its ability to stay fresh, and keep you entertained throughout.

One Piece for its unqiue story telling and art, aswell its addicting nature.

SJG/GTO for Onizuka, probably one of the greatest characters ever created. This is probably one of the most entertaining manga ever.

Full Metal Alchemist for its wonderfully rich storyline. The manga-ka has succesfully combined drama based story with comedy parts, and beautiful expressions of emotion. combined with wonderful art.

Thats my five, and I recommend everyone to read them if they havn't yet. 😀

One Piece because it's the only manga that has ever made me cry (not just tear up).
Hajime no Ippo because it made me tear up a little.
Rurouni Kenshin because it was my first!
Dragonball because it started it all.
Slam Dunk because Inoue is a genius.

Actually, it appears to be working just fine. However, it seems that the coding for that particular posts quote function isn't working properly.

XerBlade, read the manga. The anime ended at around volume 11 or 12. Theres 25 volumes. Thats about sixty to seventy episodes more worth of material. That should be enough to get ya to read. Oh, and the manga is even more hilarious than the anime. The anime actually got toned down, believe it or not.

I keep hoping for a GTO 2 j-drama, but if it hasn't happend yet, I doubt it will.

😀 I've never made up my mind on fav manga, but here are 5 candidates (U all prob know these, no need explaining):

-The Rose of Versailles (I know it's shoujo)
-Naruto (don't laugh at me lol)
-Lone Wolf and Cub
-Vagabond

But I really don't have a clue what my fav is. Other well known I like (among many I don't care listing): Gantz, Blade of the Immortal, Oniisama e (aka brother dear brother), Bleach, GTO, Rkenshin, Full metal alchemist, Death Note, Battle Royale, Maka-Maka(lol).... and parhaps Love Hina too 'cause it's listed so much 😀
