My top 5 (that I own)
- Mars- A shoujo, drama classic. I think Mars volume 1 was the third manga I bought and it was the first full series I bought. If I could only keep one of my series this would be the one I keep.
Next four can be in any order
Hot Gimmick I know it's not very good and its sappy but it means a lot to me because my friends and I used to obese about it in high school. It also has one of the funniest lines I ever read.
The Demon Ororon- I love the artwork, its very unique. I also like the main male character because he's not a nice person and makes not qualms about being a mean S.O.B, but he still tries to be not so evil because he loves the main girl.
Immortal Rain- Once again love the art work. But what I like most about this manga is the character development. This manga has one major problem though it's not coming out very fast and it's taking over two years for a new volume to hit the states.
Fushigi Yuugi- It's just a classic. Good artwork gets better has the manga goes on. But I still wish the manga ended at volume 13 but Yuu Watase likes to have a happy ending with everyone living happily ever after. 🤨
I love all the manga I have and sometimes my favorites change. ^_^

In no particular order:
Vagabond
Zetman
One Piece
Uzumaki
Can't really decide on a 5th one though, too many choices.

The cool part is that I never get tired of being deceived
Quote from tactics
Just because someone's head was chopped off doesn't mean they're dead. That's just silly.

Haven't read that many, but I'd say:
-
Flash Cat by Lee Kyoung Shin - It's one of the first manhwas I've read, but is just complete in nearly every way. Just has five volumes, but the series doesn't seem rushed at all.
-
Akira by Otomo Katsuhiro - The first manga I ever read, but still one of the best. It's at least two decades old, but is still graphically gorgeous and intriguing.
-
Yureka (AKA ID_Entity) by Son Hee-Joon and Kim Youn Kyung. It's about a mmorpg called "Lost Saga". Another thing to note is that this series began in 2000 or so, even before Dot Hack came out. Its latest volume, volume 31, nearly made me cry. It's still ongoing, but I have a feeling that the series is coming to an end.
-
R2D2 by Jo Eun Ha and some artist whose name I can't recall. It's a soonjung manhwa that's four volumes long, with a huge twist at the end. Easily one of my favorites.
I could list more, but I think these four are my all-time favorites.

this is a great topic. helped me find great manga's that i will get around to reading. I've been mostly a huge anime fan at the start then I started getting really into manga mostly from friends talking about series and this site but here are some that i read that are my favorites so far in no order.
One Piece- I started it thinking well it's not the best selling series of all time for nothing. Ended up reading all the 540 chapters published in less then 3 weeks.
Berserk- Gutts has got to be the most bad ass main character I've ever seen from any series being it Anime/Manga
Bakuman- Taught me alot about the work of Mangaka's. The characters are just awesome.
FMA- Great series with great characters
Zatch Bell- First series I started reading cause the Anime's ending sucked.
Gantz- Insanely detailed art.
JoJo's Bizzare Adventure- I only read 100 out of the nearly 800 chapter series but i'm hooked.
Naruto- I watched the anime weekly and people kept ruining it for me so I had to read it but it's still one of my favorites.
Dragon Ball- Grew up watching DB/DBZ it's a part of my life. This Manga is a classic and has inspired many great Mangaka's to make great stories/characters.
I tried to keep what i thought about each series short because I can go on about the art the characters and the story all day.
