I did read it, but I lost all the files and am too lazy to do anything 'bout it.

It's a good manga lots of humor, pantyshots to full nude. I'm not joking there are chapters wherein you can see their[the girls, but sometimes negi] figures.

Yes, I like Negima manga. My husband and I have read through volume 16 in English. We have volumes 17 and 18 in Japanese, but I haven't gotten around to translating them (currently working on volume 5 of After School Nightmare (US title) -- Houkago Houkenshitsu (Afterschool Nurse's Office)). Anyhow ... some of the characters are like the characters from Love Hina (which are probaby like some of the characters from A.I Love You)

Asuna = Naru
Nadoka = Shinobu
Ku Fei = Koalla Su

and so on ... I don't mind, though, since I like those characters and it's fun to see them in a different situation. Like Love Hina there's lots of fan service -- so much so that the book stores here have wrapped the racier volumes in plastic. As for the story, when it's actually on track, its quite good. However, many volumes are spent off track, especially the events surrounding the Majora festival and the budokai that is held during the festival. The little time machine device is just too convenient a way to make this part of the story seemingly go on forever. It is enjoyable ... but I feel like I've forgotten much of the original plot (maybe it would have been better to get on with the story and to make the Majora Festival details a spin-off manga series -- just a thought). My guess, though, is that the mangaka has lost control of the story and that filler is being published to boost the number of volumes because the series is popular. Sigh ... anyhow, all of that wraps up in volume 16, and it looks like the story may progress in volume 17. If not, then I'm likely to start losing interest in this series.

Anyhow, the first anime series of Negima was pretty good (the second series was watered down and had no fan service -- we only watched 2 episodes, because Negi without wit and fan service is pointless). I would like to see the ending of the anime series carried out in detail in the manga, so I hope that is the way the manga is actually supposed to end.

I've always liked it. Have all 14 vol's that released here in australia, from 1-18 ish and whatever raws I can get and the anime's. All good.

Asuna = Naru
Nadoka = Shinobu
Ku Fei = Koalla Su

Even ken akamatsu gives the throw to love hina and at times Ai love you.
Makes it worth reading when the creator goes out and say its like this.
Anyway ken akamatsu thanked us netter at the end of love hina too and Negima is far from over as they hit another story arch.

I am going to the magic world with group. And he is followed class rep and more of the class.

about the time machine

the time machine fits in with the arc at the end it will make more sense and the whole arc acts to send negi on the next part odf the journey to find his father

and as to making the arc longer A) since when is more negima a bad thing and B)with the time machine you get more action in the same situation than would have fit otherwise like

the date with nodoka that was hilarious he also ! got to spend a doy or two playing around as a kid developed negi as a character

the manga is all around excellent i laugh i feel for the characters i've even cried at parts like the segment about

the linchos little brother without this manga i wouldnt be anywhere near as addicted to anime and manga as i am.

it looked like Yue was committing suicide, then the hug with Nodoka

I've re-read those few chapters a few times xD

I don't really like Negima, but I don't dislike it. It has many embarrassing-but-hilarious situations which are a laugh and some sweet moments when there happens to be some character development.

However, Negima lacks originality as some of the characters are almost a reincarnation of Love Hina characters (the foreign girl with huge appetite, the sword-bearing girl, the shy girl with a crush on the main character) and the plot is pretty weak.

The plot development is often dampened by inane little stories which contain only more sexual humour and panty shots. By volume 9, I feel that I have enough of it. I guess this sort of manga isn't for me.

I enjoyed the Love Hina manga and own the entirety of it. It was a good comedy with decent amounts of character development. I also started purchasing Negima as I thought it would run in the same vein as Love Hina but in truth it's foremost fanservice (which I don't mind really) but it's just way too much of it, with everything else being a faint afterthought. On top of that you have so many characters thrown in that even the author himself has admitted that he's lost track of who is "who".

Even if there are good story arcs in the manga it becomes meaningless to me if I can't really connect with any of the characters throughout it. So unfortunately I've lost a lot of interest in the series.

it's good, but isn't exactly my cup of tea. Sometimes bits of the plot didnt really do it for me. Good characters and an interesting plot to say the least, id give it atleast a 7 or 8 out of 10

well the latest chapter 202 seems to hint that Negi is going to undergo training and then enter the tournament in the coming month. I just hope that the mangaka does not drag on with another tournament that has no actual relation to the plot other then getting the 1 million. I think rather then a tournament it will be rather interesting to see some development regarding Fate Av.

In my opinion, Negi is much better than Love Hina...it fits more in my favorite gengres and so...
LH is amazing too, of course, but still it's just romantic comedy...though best one I know...
