But I did like totoro, kiki, porco rosso and nausicaa a lot too and I absolutely adore Panda! Go Panda!. Not too big on the whole fantasy setting so considering that my picks aren't that weird and besides, I've never seen that common theme of theirs as their real strenght. The fantasy is a trick!!!

Do you know what people did in the old days when they had secrets they didn't want to share?

They'd climb a mountain, find a tree, carve a hole in it, whisper the secret into the hole and cover it up with mud. That way, nobody else would ever learn the secret...

I recently watched Tales from Earthsea --- It looked nice... but ya... I don't remember the books going like that at all...
