3. Laputa - as flawed as it is, it goes on a bit too long(boredom starts to set in), seems like it's padded before the story starts back up again(with a robot starting back up). It's influence is amazing. Though it pains me to not include Howl's.

I haven't watched the two most recent ones though. Latest I've seen is Ponyo.
