Are you a heavy sleeper, I know I am. This is a true story; I was sleeping while a storm was going on, apparently it was pretty bad. A tree fell through my room and I didn’t wake up, and when I did I said "WTF happened?"
Its a miricle I wake up to go to school.

The only alarm clock that can wake me is the screamin' meanie

Not in the slightest.

When I was younger, I'd be sleeping in my bedroom (with the door closed) and would wake up to the sound of my mom opening the front door when she came home from work.

When people carefully open the door to my room, which makes no noise whatsoever, I wake up right away. I'm a very light sleeper. But on the other hand my alarm clock has trouble waking me up. I will wake up, turn it off then go to sleep. So If I have to wake up early I place the alarm clock across the room so I actually have to get out of bed to turn it off. And once I'm out of the bed, I can't fall asleep anymore.

I voted for Other. (n_n)

It depends on the day sometimes I'll wake up just hearing a car pass in front of my house(the road is about 40-50 feet from my house)

Then sometimes my brother is playing music in the next room over with his surround sound(it's about 2000 watts or more can't remember) but he has the volume up almost all the way and I don't even hear anything.

after a few times in the past where i woke up to discover that the alarm clock is magically shut down, and im late for school... i decide to change.
normal alarms dont work on me, since i can get used to the sound, and then i dont hear a thing. so i added a radio-alarm clock to my collection of 5 alarm clocks.
it worked. for a while. one day i found myself waking up at 12pm. according to my mom, the alarms were shut down at 6am, and she thought im at school. i have no memory of doing that.
so after that, the alarm clock was moved to the other side of the room, so i would have to get up and shut it down. worked. for a while. i shut the damn thing down, and crawl back to bed.
anyways, how deep i sleep depends on how tired i am. if im not too tired, the smallest noise can wake me up.
if i am tired, i could as well be dead.

Let me put it this way - my two just-turned-12-year-old boys can crawl into bed with me when I'm asleep, and I don't notice it at all. 🤣 My cats can get into bed with me, sleep on me, find a way to get under the covers with me, and it doesn't wake me up at all (and these are 10-14 lb cats...).

The doorbell, telephone, and smoke detector wake me up pretty quickly; the alarm clock is usually ok but I've been known to "smack the beep" (hit the snooze button) for several hours straight without waking up enough to remember doing it.

Depends. Sometimes my wonderful family wakes me up with shouting/slamming the doors. When I was about 5-6 and we lived in a flat apartment, the ceiling fell down in room opposite to mine. I heard nothing, although it woke up even the neighbours from two stairs under us.
Right now it really depends. Although i picked up a nasty habit lately - I'm not only talking in my sleep (that startled my mum when she came to wake me up, as I started to speak French to her) but I also sleepwalk. It's pretty unsettling, especially as I live in college dorms 5 days out of 7. Just hope I won't wander too far.
I'm 'trained' to get up when I hear my alarm going off. Actual waking up starts about hour and a half later. For all those that go to bed after switching the alarm off, I saw a nice clock in the store. When you're stwitching it off, it gives you a shock. Nasty way to wake up.

Pfft... A storm.. When I was about 6 or so I went to sleep on the top bunk at like 8 pm or so. Woke up on the ground at about 6 am with a pretty good sized cut across my chest.. We had this coat rack looking thing in our room and it was lying down next to me.. So my guess is i rolled off the top bunk on to the coat rack and then to the floor.. I still have the scar today.. Oh, and I fell on top of a floor full of toys.. Good times..

It's kind of the same for me with the alarms thing.. Before my recent... er... Living situation occured.. I had set 10 alarms to go off within 4 minutes or so.. Unfortunately after about a month or two I learn how to basically turn them off in my sleep.. Even though they don't really work anymore, I still keep using them.. I guess I'll have to do something eventually..

I'm not that heavy a sleeper. I think I'm somewhat more sensitive to others sound-wise.

It really depends on the day...

There are days when nothing is able to wake me up ( nothing and noone ) and days, when even my cat footsteps are enough to completely wake me up.

Usually, it's really more like a coma... 🤢

It depends on the hour... < 10 it is required the alarm clock, the phone ringing and my friends knocking on my window. 10 > even television would wake me up, but if somebody touches me does not matter the time I would wake up.
