I miss having a nanny to wake me up >_<

Skipping past the obvious question of 'you had a nanny?', why do you miss it?

Polite bump.

It depends really. But the problem lies more about keeping me awake. 🤣 If I wake up, that's still no guarantee I'll get out of my bed. D: If I'm tired, and I have a free day, I'll probably just doze off again. I do dislike sleeping too much... I feel like I wasted a lot of precious time, then. >__<;

I picked other, since it's between the first and third. It doesn't take much to wake me up usually, but I have been known to turn my alarm clock off in my sleep when I haven't gotten enough. If it's anything less than 4hrs worth, then it'll take a little more than just trying to talk to me.

It really depends on how tired I was when I went to sleep. Theres been days when my alarm goes off and I dont hear it(its right above my head).

I think I'm a little odd. I can sleep through thunderstorms that shake the house like an earthquake without any problems. Yet, the presence of a person will always wake me up, and if I set an alarm 99% of the time I will wake up 5 minutes before it goes off.
So yeah I think setting an alarm is enough for me. 😀

Only my roommate's printer can wake me up. So I actually like that she's using it at 7 am, since my alarm clock didn't seem to wake me up at 6:30. Besides that, I will wake up only if my body has had enough or if I have an important lecture.

The alarm clock is enough to wake me up.

Only because my alarm is the radio. If I hit the snooze button, that's it, i'm off to sleep again. I did that recently. I switched my alarm off, and got up at 8:30, the time school starts 🤣

Also, it depends what time I went to sleep. Naturally the later I go to bed, the more time I'm gonna want to sleep.

I like to lie in more than go back to sleep. My max. lie in was 1 and a half hours, before my stomach was like "feed me!"

Is there something called an average sleeper? Cos' I don't wake up at littlest noises, nor do I sleep even though there's lawn mower next to me. So I'm just an average sleeper, wakes up when needed. Sleeps no longer than 8 hours.

I'm exactly like this.

I'm such a deep sleeper. xD
I'll be having nose-bleeds in my sleep and I don't wake up.
And apparently my brother tickles me in my sleep and I don't even laugh, especially when I'm super ticklish when I'm awake haha.

I have five alarms in my room for school.
They go off by one minute differences in case I go back to sleep, and I've strategically placed them all across my room. xD

One by my head, one on the bed above me (I sleep on the bottom bed of my bunk bed), one in the corner of my room, one by my door and one on top of my wardrobe.

It's annoying when I have to change the time I get up in the morning since I have to do it five times. @__@

One thing I like about being a deep sleeper is that I get a lot of peace while sleeping. I can't hear anything while sleeping and it's like hibernating like a bear during winter. A niiice long slumber.

Sleep is one damn interesting topic!
I read somewhere that the reason for waking up from a certain sound depends on our level of attention towards specific sounds (like the voice of one's mother, the alarm clock or someone's footsteps). The reason for the attention would be survival (in its basic form) and the need to avoid stress, learned through conditioning or done by instinct.

Sounds reasonable and explains why we wake up to our mother's voices. 😀

Even if dead tired, I'll need a long time to fall asleep in my own bed (works better with hotels, cars, sofas, auditoriums...). Haven't found a way to solve that problem yet.
Stuff like footsteps or someone entering/talking in front my room wakes me up immediately. Waking up by someone's voice is the worst way to start the day. I truly hate that feeling.

I'm a very heavy sleeper. I'll sleep through anything, except my alarm. I'm at least half-awake as soon as that goes off (although I usually accidentally snooze and roll over a few times before I'm truly awake).
