I've notice that in manhwas (shoujos at lest) there are so many gangs! I also noticed that woman are treated horrible. Theres also so much violence!

I also noticed that all manhwa's have confusing plots and the art is always perfect unlike manga. Or at lest the girls bodys are perfect.

Manhwa unlike manga has no smut or hardcore romance.
Well i only saw 'smut' in a manhwa once and that was [m]Model[a]

So what i'm wondering is, whats Korea (or whatever manhwa is from) like.

Yeah, I've noticed that there are a lot of stuff about gangs in romance manhwas.(jjang this, jjang that -____-).And I barely see smut in manhwas either O_O!

As of your question..ermm, I guess Korea is into to those stuff. And they're very into hip hop and breakdancing! (That's not answering your question, though xD).

Edit: Just be happy that it's different from usual weak girls in shoujo. :3

True true, girls (and guys!) are almost always mistreated or bitchy or just unlikable as a whole.

I don't find the art perfect, actually. It just seems very stiff, like I really don't like the bodies 😳

well for the girls
i guess its kinda in their culture
where the girl needs to just do the housechore and not mess in other bussiness [they are pretty strict in this concept]

and yeah!
koreans love hiphop
so do i!
haha
😛

and hip hop don't have anything in commom to this plot anyway >.>

Maybe the problem is the type of manwha that you are reading. Not all mamwhas are like this, in fact, there are several kinds of manwhas, just like mangas. As example, this one I was reading (the scanlation is done) Memory Eaters. It's like a shoujo fantasy manga.

I think it might just be a difference in culture. I was just reading "The Breaker" and "Zero" and I realized that I rarely see that kind of violence against women in mangas. True, they are sometimes implied, but usually in a much more innocent manner.

You don't really see violence in K-drama and such though...

or at least not in the ones I've watched

When I compare violent manhwa to violent manga, somehow I fail to see the difference.

...Since when did "all manhwa" have confusing plots? Clearly I'm reading the wrong things, as they all seem coherent to me.

Maybe you should widen the type of manhwa you read. There's things that you said that I really don't quite understand. Also, if you're not even sure where manhwa is from, I don't think I should even bother to answer anything.

Yes thats it there bodies are soo stiff.

Well i guess i'm really only talking about shoujo manhwa, but theres the other question about how much the girls/guys sware.

Edit: for the confuseing plots theres model

You haven't read enough.
You can't just read a few and generalize that all the
manwhas are like that '-'
Manwhas aren't confusing to me because I pay attention to all the small details..
And the art is depends on how the authors draws it.

TELL ME again that women are not mistreated in manga. Did you ever read hentai mangas? There is plenty of rape or mistreatment in mangas. To me, I'd say japanese are way worse than koreans. And I prefer Korean series nowadays, Japs make the same generic series over and over again.

Seriously... go read more.
