This is something that has been really pissing me off alot when I'm looking for a wallpaper: What the hell is with people and pairing up the most weirdest pairs from anime? Renji and Ichigo yaoi, from bleach, is just wrong. Naruto and Sasuke yaoi.....wrong!!!! Ulquiorra and Orihime pairing....ugh...not gonna happen.

Its all right to draw pics of bishounens and stuff and couples that go together, but please, stop with the yaoi. Ugh.... >:-(

Those wallpapers are not so dangerous. You don't want to see them - you simply don't click them when you browse galleries.

Renji and Ichigo? Wait till you see those with Byakuya and Renji...or Byakuya and Rukia. And I don't mean "siblings love" 🤣

Uh, huh, a Byakuya fangirl of MU here. I'm not anti yaoi or something, but I have to agree with you here. It totally pisses me off, when I'm looking for a wallpaper and stumble across all those weird pairings. But then, when I see them, I don't click. And it's a shame, as most of Byakuya wallpapers are either Bya/Ichi, Bya/Ren or Bya/Ruki (the last one is totally sic O.O He's her brother-in-law? And she looks totally like Hisana.. that creeps me out. C'mooon!)
Ahem, but I'm getting off topic here. What I mean is - I agree with you, but each to his own. It's not as if you can make all those weird pairings disappear, right? Better just ignore, the easiest way.

Anyway, your rant made me laugh... seriously, do you really think people would stop liking what they want because of it? 🤣 I don't mean to sound condescending, but you can't control what people would be into, especially if you sound like a kid throwing a tantrum. >_> I don't really mean to offend. It's just a whatever floats your boat thing.

I throw the penalty flag on the yuri statement. Don't care for that category either, but searching on this site at least yuri search produced 3 pages where yaoi produced 60. Romance overall produced 48 pages. Maybe just not many yuri translators/updaters to provide accurate numbers but thats a huge gap.

I think that there are more yuri than that 'cause there's almost always a girl on girl thing in hentai. Maybe it's not called yuri, just plain hentai if there's no plot/romance? But yea, I guess you have a point. A big gap if we only look at the ones listed here and if we're also talking about fanfictions and fanarts.

i'm not a fan of yaoi or yuri(but it's nice) really, but is shipping really the heart of the issue here? crack shippings happen all the time, the trick, as already stated above, is ignoring.

I'm just picking on Yaoi cause it's the biggest one i've seen around lately. lol. Yes yes, ive seen all the bleach pairings. i dont really like it....sorry. Yaoi isnt some forbidden romance thingy, its gay people having buttsex, lol. Hentai....is pretty much fan fiction. I dont really care for it much. Not trying to end it all....but its just so wrong!!!! 😲 Its not that its because its homosexual or anything, alot of my friends are gay, but it is just appalling to me.

ladyviollet, you're not quite going the right way about it if you're trying to convince fangirls (really now, why just fangirls?) to stop shipping characters and slashing and whatnot...although I will admit I'm not a big fan of slash couples myself ^_^;;
