I take breaks but I guess I also count. I began using BakaUpdates around 2009-ish, although I only made an account in 2013.

I joined in 2008, but I've been lurking since around 2003. I took a break reading manga between 2012 and 2019, but when I read, Baka-updates is my go-to website. I check info about titles I read (and correct mistakes on the way) and keep track of my ginormous reading list. I don't think I could do it without this database...
Been there, read that

Ok, I just checked my account and it says I’ve been here since 2008. Maybe longer without and account .

From growing as a child knowing nothing about manga and Japanese culture, I left this site almost 16.7 years ago and now enjoying reading RAW directly in Japanese without any difficulties ;).
I returned back and surprised that my account is still here and accessible. And more surprisingly, this site still lives and leaves lots of legacy.
Now, as a retired adult with various optional responsibilities (everyone else at my age has passed away lol), I can return to my childhood enjoying my peace in the furthest area of humanity ;).
I have been travelling around the world since 3 in five continents. My target is to travel to North and South Pole respectively. I love Japan and its culture the most, that's why I'm here. I hate the Western toxic f. culture where you are hated for being just existing... Now, retiring for life and enjoying life disconnected from modern world ~
