Hm...Well,

Best:

  1. Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei - Hell yes. The anime version didn't upset me one bit. Tiny bits were changed around, but it only made it seem more awesome. Plus, you just gotta love the openings and endings >.> Best quality ops/ends by far.

  2. Bleach - Even though I'm kinda upset with how the anime is going currently, at least it stays true to its counter part.

  3. Fruits Basket - Can't blame them for the anime ending, they didn't know the big secret yet >.> It would have been epic if they kept on going with the rest of the manga.

  4. Ouran High School Host Club

  5. Skip Beat

Worst:

  1. Naruto - Manga all the way...too many useless fillers, that's all I've got to say. Hey, that rhymed XD

  2. Princess Tutu: This one is Anime to Manga....The anime was way cuter 🙁

Best: Elfen Lied the manga was terrible, but I really enjoyed the anime. The op was amazing too.

Worst: Hellsing especially the that boss: "I'm going to rape you" (with what?)
Fruits Basket That scene where Tohru sees Kyo's true form and is vomiting...
mahou sensei negima the art is shit and Negi is a wimp.

I thought of that as a bit of artistic license, seeing as the smell was supposed to be unbearably rotten.

Though I answered elsewhere in the thread, I also think the Gakuen Heaven anime wasn't a great adaptation. It followed the story (well, mostly one of the djs, actually), but it seemed to drag in comparison.

Gunslinger Girl ~ a million times better than the manga
Naruto ~ I don't care about the fillers (I like them! 😃 )

Worst:
Ouran High School Host Club ~ the anime is totally cringeworthy
Fruits Basket ~ if the manga's so good, how come the anime's so bad? 😕

I just thought it made her seem like a wimp, the whole scene not just the vomiting. And it was supposed to be her acceptance of his true form that healed him, so her being that repulsed seems a bit off.

Also I forgot earlier, but the Tokyo Babylon anime was terrible.

What I saw was that he needed her acceptance, but he didn't need or want unconditional acceptance. What he needed was someone who could admit being afraid, but could still accept him, even through that fear. That's what his mother (or father or anyone except Kazuma) didn't give him.

In other news, Mouse was a terrible anime adaptation.

Worst :
Chobits
Magister Negi Magi
Naruto (I only know the german vision of the Anime but in germany they cut out all scene with blood or something else. they even cut out things like nosebleed. it's really horrible that some people can destroy a anime like that .)

Best: I thing Death Note is a real good anime adaptation

Best: Death note, Tsubasa R. Chronicle Tokyo arc, Elfen Lied
Worst: Rosario + Vampire (nothing to say -_- )
Negima (the best parts were left out and the art is horrible)
Reborn! (the anime is censored, no blood)
Samurai Deeper Kyo (mutilation of the manga)

Worst:
Air Gear anime... Although the manga is sometimes pretty confusing (especially last chapters), the start was interesting at least... Anime is boring and lame...

Best:
Probably BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad. Everything was great about this anime... I watched the whole series practically one episode after another.

But with all the fuss she made it didn't seem like she accepted him at all.

and I think the main problem with the others acceptance was that they were faking.

And Trigun was a great manga --> anime

Worst:
Shugo Chara - I found the deleted scenes and the torcherous fillers a pain to watch.
Special A - Some mangas are just not meant to be animes.
Vampire Knight - Many people liked it. I didn't. I thought the manga was much better.

Best:
Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch - I liked the anime as much as I liked the manga. 😀

I feel the exact same way about those anime's...maybe except Special A.
Shugo Chara was ruined with so many damn fillers! but at least the manga is still great.
Oh, god! the VK anime was so bad! 😢 they made the characters so different, personality wise and appearance.
Just in case....

they made Yuuki so useless in VKG during Rido's arc. In the manga she was the one who gave like the killing blow to Rido, while in the anime she was just captured by him :|

Death Note, Host Club, Fruits Basket...great adaptions, whether or not you like how they ended. As awesome as Geass is, why do people keep mentioning it? XD:;

Vamprie Knight manga>>>the anime, if not simply because Yuuki isn't as annoying in the manga. I've heard the same about Special A. I struggled though 7 episodes of the anime and ended up dropping it (did I mention it's the only anime I've ever dropped?), and I even wanted to like it! Even FukuJun couldn't keep me watching! But I'd like to give the manga a chance one day... Heard the same about Kuroshitsuji, and I can totally see that. The anime's just...alright. I'm waiting for the manga to get licensed to read it :/

Ahaha, so true! Well, the second OVA was pretty good and gave you a better idea of the what TB is truly about, although the first one...yeah, made no sense :'D The manga is amazing though, of course.

Damn, you really think so? How far into the anime did you watch? I'm currently reading towards the beginning of the manga and it's making me cringe...though that might partially cuz Viz's awful translation :/
