Shoujo where male lead isn't playboy asshole at first

Don't get me wrong, I've liked many like that because usually the playboy asshole becomes a much better person. What I want to see are ones where the nice guy is the male lead and not the other guy in the love triangle. So the playboy loses instead of the nice guy.

I couldn't find anything exactly as you described, but I think these might be close.
These don't fit exactly, but they do have love triangles of a sort, with a nice guy as the final choice:
Skip Beat! (not finished, but pretty obvious conclusion)
Mekakushi no Kuni
Cat Street
If you just want nice guy romance (with no love triangle):
Love So Life
Ojousama no Untenshu

That's kind of surprising honestly. But thanks for the ones you suggested. I'll check them out. If you can think of any more, then please post them.

This one is quite a challenge. Does there HAVE to be a love triangle, and could it be a short story?
I don't read much shoujo that fits your bill, but translated some shorts for my team that might.
Male lead is a great-looking guy, but not a playboy. Definitely a NEAR-perfect shoujo read.
Iketani's longer running shoujo series, Bitou Lollipop, is also one that might suit you as well.
And, personally, if you want an amazing shoujo series with well-rounded characters who are considered "bishounen" within the series realm, but where there is no designated LEAD male, because every one is integral to the series, then my all-time favorite series is Principal. I keep reccommending it everywhere I go because that's how much I love it.
A shame you don't have a public list, so that I could eliminate the need to guess what you have or haven't read.

I feel like Peach Girl might fit the bill but its a bit of a blur now.
