Well, I usually start a manga from where I was in an anime. If I hear the anime is better than the manga (after reading the manga, of course), I may watch the anime, and vise versa. Though, these days, I don't have time for anime (yay for manga ^^)

I more often go anime -> manga than the other way around. Mostly since there is so much manga that I havn't read the ones that get turned into an anime.

Usually the best of the best manga gets turned into an anime, so I tend to read them afterwards for more impact of a good story.

When I was little I would watch the anime first, just because it was a good cartoon. That would be my Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor Sakura, and Pokemon days 🙂
Now though, I stick with manga. Most of what I read are either Josei, Seinen, or Adult, and there aren't that many animes for them. Or, I'll like the manga a lot and I'll go watch the anime. Like, Ouran Host Club and Vampire Knight.

Um, I think when you're littler you'd stick to the animations more. That's what my brother is doing, and he's little. He's slowing moving his way up to manga though. yay! I voted with manga first, because that's what I do nowadays.

I'm procrastinating right now that's why i keep rambling. I hate studying for finals 🤢

For me it was always a mission for the manga and i was just able to get the anime easier and with little hassle. It was not until i had watched Gantz for the 3rd time and continued to be fustrated by the ending that i went to Google. I litteraly typed in "Gantz f**ked up ending" all the links came out Read the Manga so from there i found sites like this and onemaga and such

now i read the manga first exclusivly, in fact because of the manga i have found new anime that has even been around a while that i had missed
