yes, IE will seem less popular because their vote will be scattered.
but, even if they're combine into 1, it's less than 4% by the time i reply it.
not much different.
still below opera, even though better than safari.

I use firefox for personal use and chrome for work. I find it helps to keep the two separate when you use the same computer. Also, Chrome has better tools for web development anyway, and I have to use webkit browsers for the languages I use.

I'd like to say Internet Explorer, since it has always worked fine for me, but with my current operating system (Windows XP), I haven't been able to install anything past IE 8. IE 8, being over 4 years old, does give me some trouble now. I would like to install IE 11 (I've used it on computers at my university and it works well), but since it's not compatible with my OS, I am using Firefox now.

Yeah we know chrome and ff are going to win but give Microsoft some credit. If we are going to get that picky why not ask how many people are still using ff 3 and such not (its still around folks). By pulling the IEs as separate and not the FFs you make IE even more lagging, not cool 🤢 😀
this. i also don't get the point of listing the different versions of Internet Explorer separately when there are probably different versions for all of the browsers.
anyways, i use Firefox. I've tried Chrome and Safari but didn't like them as much as Firefox. I haven't even heard of Opera.
Whoa, XP? So old school. My old XP is my torrent computer currently, so I prefer to use Firefox for the plug-ins.
I generally use Firefox, though I occasionally use Chrome, at least on my laptop or desktop. My university computer lab uses KDE, so we only have Firefox which is just fine with me.

I think OP doesn't like Chrome because of the many processes it generates with the number of tabs opened, meaning if the person wants to open more than 150 tabs like in Firefox, it will be too slow (I guess that's it, I have such a shallow knowledge about it), so for the OP, "Chrome can't do tabs' meaning it isn't as good as Firefox when dealing with a high number of tabs.
I use Chrome in my desktop and Opera in my tablet.

I use chrome, and I tend to have around that much open.
I thought it was more because FF makes it a bit easier to go to each tab. The little thing in the side IIRC . Chrome just has them all bunched together. While FF slides or something. I forgot it's been a while.
Yes yes, I know I make longwinded comments, but that's just me >.<
I should proof read my comments more, but I won't...

I can't stand anything other than Firefox these days. And honestly, if Mozilla decide to actually use Australis I'll be utmost disappointed.

I use mostly Chrome, but it's honestly closely followed by Firefox (well, various edits of it)..
And then Opera for some special purposes, and IE only when all else fails. >.<;

Chrome all the way for me. It's fast and simple. Additionally, I can import my favourites with me wherever I go.

I use Firefox even though it's a memory hog. I would love Opera more if websites widely supported it like they do other browsers. As for Chrome, if Google weren't dismissive of privacy preferences I would still use it.

Is mayonnaise a web browser?

I think it's pretty coincidental that you should be asking this poll this week. Just 2 days ago my windows 7 computer auto-updated itself and installed IE 11. IE 11 was incompatible with my version of Adobe Flash Player (11) so I couldn't play any flash games for a whole day. So yesterday I hunted down my updates using my control panel and downgraded my web browser to IE 10 and its running very smoothly. I don't have the HD space for Chrome, but I wanna get it soon. I use IE 10 only because I've used for a long time, I'd probably switch if it weren't for the lack of memory space on my computer.
Strange that IE 11 wasn't working while 10 was though still.

I am in the same boat, found Opera ideal up until their rebuild, reverted back to the old version for now, but sooner or later have to find a primary browser - I have IE and Chrome installed, but they aren't really good enough, and Firefox is worse than either of them. Tried a few others like Maxthon, still don't really see anything current that fits the way I tend to browse.
