I try to be open to any type of genre of course i usually avoid yaoi or anything with little kids in love or are main characters, but there are exceptions Tokyo Babylon (as close to yaoi im ever gonna get) and Kure-nai (the anime is one of my fav). It doesn't really matter what genre it is as long it's good or original

Ahh I need to change my list. I was lazy and quoted because they were pretty much the same as what I thought, but that's not the case anymore.

The ones that I tend to always exclude in my searches are;
Yaoi, Yuri, Shonen ai, Shoujo ai, Shotacon, Josei, Shoujo (although there are a select few that I have read. I guess it's fair to say I don't like the majority of the manga's in that category). Sometimes I kick out Seinen, but I don't mind it really.

Alot of people don't like yaoi/yuri.....

I dislike hentai, stuff that is too smutty, sports, historical, and most sports manga.

Seriously whats wrong with yaoi/yuri?

Edit: I don't like the majority of josei or when romance is mixed with the action either. or harems

I still avoid smut, ecchi and harem, especially the last two. I just can't bring myself to read a harem. As for BL, I think I read more of it now, but I've learned how to tell apart the good and bad ones. Good being those that don't just focus on the sex scenes (PWP) and focus more on the romance- realistic romance, and bad being those that are just PWP, which is a loooot. o.o

I don't read hentai/yaoi/yuri/smut etc, and I usually avoid shounen/shoujo-ai. I also don't like romance, unless its a side plot or something.

Doing nothing is very hard to do. You never know when you're done.

Now, I just highlight them with dark grey so that I can make sure the release looks okay. I also don't like Mecha and Sport themed manga, but not to the same extent as the others.

Manga I'm loving ATM: Heart no Kuni no Alice

I don´t like yuri, hentai, mecha, gender bender, shoujo, ecchi, loli e shota (make me sick), harem, martial arts, sports.

I don't like genres such as shouen-ai yaoi yuri etc.. can't read a manga or watch an anime that has nothing but guys or nothing but girls, or genres that go over the top with their drama's such as peach girl....
