Hate School Romance as the main plot. The "Jimmy loves Julia, Julia loves Jhon, and Jhon is the "coolest" idiot of the world. Com'on guys, this shit just doesn't exist, even in japan. Loser content (just my opnion).
Don't like horror not cuz of the horror itself, but sometimes there isn't any good plot. Just Children Freakers: Indie Indiot finds a house/mystery and try to conclude/solve it, look at something and there is a "scary thing", so he run, fall, [something obvious here] and die.
Harens, it is just ridiculous da main character (M or F) getting grouped "accidentally" by the Girls/Boys.
Hate Ridiculous Romance. The Idiot and Good-for-nothing boy/girl magically attract the hottest boy/girl and them Or he just is a Shy-Perveted-Fag who can't touch the girl Or She just is a Shy-Stupid-Ridiculous girl of the world and don't even kiss the hottest guy of her life! 😐 WHY?
Non-sense Psycological: ...
Todays "Action": Action Without Action... wow...

I boycott all the sport mangas. I just don't get why you would want to read that.
You do sport and don't read about it.
And I avoid lolicon and shotacon, just not my thing.

agreed
...haven`t read any Adult manga so far, because the ones I found didn't seem to have any plot,
school life is a genre I do read, but haven't liked many manga from that genre by now, so i skip manga from this genre, too
next: I don't know why, but I can't stand gender bender ^^
*... and I forgot the same gender romances, which I avoid. I can't understand people being hysterical about them ^^ if the story is cheesy or exeggerated than it doesn't matter, if it's a mere romance or a yaoi. Same gender doesn't make a horrible story better in any way.
There's nothing to see here. Proceed with what you were doing or throw rainbows at random pedestrians.

Hentai. As much as possible I avoid it because some or if not, most of the H I have read are just plain stupid and NONSENSE. Maybe it's just the people who recommend it but anyway... I avoid it, at least those that have no plot. I also stay away from loli/shota.
I don't like ecchi. In fact, I think I hate it or maybe even despise it. Just the manga/anime that give fan service for just that. It's pointless. An example would be a part wherein the main chara and this girl having a serious talk. Then suddenly out of nowhere, without any relevance whatsoever, they would insert some pantyshots. Those kind of ecchi are the ones I don't like. So that means there are some that are exempted from my judgments regarding ecchi.
Harem. I don't like harem. It's not my cup of tea. It feels so overused and too good to be true. Also, I can't stand the fact that almost or I think every hero/heroine in harems are good-for-nothing or loser types. IF anyone could give me a harem without a loser protagonist, I will stand corrected.
I think those are the top3 I hate or dislike the most. 🙂
editI also hate same gender romances. I just can't stand them. If it's only a hint, I could endure it but if it goes all the way.... I'd rather read one of the three above except H, so that would make it 2! 🤣

I don't like:
Hentai (I don't read manga for porn)
Lolicon/Shotacon (in other words...child porn)
Mecha (Robots fighting each other...it doesn't get me excited)
Yaoi/Yuri/Shounen-ai/Shoujo-ai (I don't like gay romance)
yup same here. I don't like the explictness of yaoi, and the shounen-ai I've read, the relationships are more aroud the edges and not clearly defined as gay which is just uncomfortable to read because it leaves me wondering if they are of it they aren't >> It's hard to describe.
I also don't like ecchi or harem much, obviously smut as well ^^ I don't like seinen because I don't understand the plots very well (but that's probably because I don't have the patience to figure it out and I'm not old enough to appreciate it). Horror I don't much like either. Or psycological, if it's too deep or that manipulative psycological where people mess with other people's minds and stuff.
Edit: oh, and I don't like tragedy either. Especially a Romeo and Juliet type one >>

I rate manga with 5 being the average score.

Don't like yaoi.
I don't really dislike sports, I just find them boring.
I don't really mind anything else (even shotacon, which is probably weird, but that's okay).

Shotacon, Yaoi and Shounen Ai.
Not so much Shotacon, I've never read a Shotacon manga but I don't think I'd like it very much.

I totally avoid:
-Ecchi: No, I don't need to see hugely gross boobs or panty shots.
-Hentai: Just not my thing.
-Harem: I just loathe the idea of one person being fawned over by dozens of people.
Don't really like, but would give a try if I'm told the story's good:
-Mecha
-School Life
-Yaoi/Yuri
-Shotacon/Lolicon
-Shoujo Ai/Shonen Ai
Every other genre I'll try willingly.

I think it's 'wrong' to define likes and dislikes in terms of genre. I base this on experience, often the true 'gems' are found in places you least expect them.
Personally, I strongly dislike certain themes and elements, but that does not mean I won't read (or watch) anything containing those... Different moods calls for different likes and dislikes.
For example:
I strongly dislike the element of prostitution, especially when forced to, but if the underlaying story is very well written and the issues are dealt with in such a way that I can accept it (vague I know, but it's a feeling thing) than I won't mind reading it... Meaning I try to remain open minded and regularly try out different things, because only after reading do you know if you liked it. After all, it's all about the balance of the used elements and if you were able to enjoy the story.
For a long time I used to define stories by genre and have clear likes and dislikes... Until I got bored and started reading some random stuff (that I used to avoid) and found some true gems in terms of story and art.
Sure, I still have preferences, but I try to keep those a bit vague. Most of the times it's not a single element or genre that I like (or dislike) but a combination off.
So saying I dislike 'Shounen Ai' is wrong, some are actually quite enjoyable, what I do tend to dislike is 'Shounen Ai' combined with some (smutty) flat stereotypical storyline with no real redeeming factors.
For example:
I dislike the combination of children and erotic, 'children' may bit a bit vague (it depends on your culture and personal beliefs). I draw a hard line at 12, above (to ±16) is a grey area which depends on the degree of erotic and the purpose (i.e. is it consensual?, between adult and child or between two children of the same age).
I dislike certain character traits, for example: the protagonist of a romance story is some weak willed girl that acts like she is some object to be conquered by guys (or girls, don't really care), or the character is scheming and uses manipulation or blackmailing... Though this depends on the rest of the story and if it has redeeming factors.
That said, I do strongly dislike and avoid anything related to Shotacon, Lolicon, Yaoi, Yuri when used in an erotic way (i.e. Hentai)... I'm just not interested in stories where sex is the main plot or used as some sort of glue.
I also dislike the so called 'fan-service', it's pointless, annoying, adds nothing to the story and degrades the characters in the story... With fan-service I mean: Harem, Big breasts, Panty-shots, Lots of nudity, over the top tsundere (et al.) or whatever it's called. I've seen cases where (excessive) fan-service actually completely destroyed an otherwise brilliant story.
To be more concise, I dislike pointlessness (and don't even start with the typical power-level based Shounen manga (Dragonball, Naruto, Bleach, etc.).
... I'll stop ranting now, I think most of you get the picture... anyway it's just my opinion and you're welcome to disagree.

yuri. some shoujo ai is okay (like maria-sama ga miteru or kakumei shoujo utena), but yuri is something i stand far away from.
i can take all the other genres, even guro, but please, no yuri for me
EDIT: and bara. bara is made for gay guys and i think noone else has to read it. this übermuscular or chubby characters are a real turn of and there is no moe ät all
