Horror w/o (too much) gore

Okay, I'm looking for horror/psychological manga series that won't give me nightmares and scar me for life. That's why really excessive and detailed gore is out of the question. (Sorry, Dragonfiremule.) MPD Psycho is the perfect example of something I am not looking for. Thanks in advance to all who respond. Oh, and I'm hoping for something more on the lines of josei, shounen, or seinen. The occaisonal shoujo isn't bad, but I don't like the real kiddish ones. By the way, supernatural is a always a plus.
Examples of things I like:
Monster
Pluto
Mizu ni Sumu Oni
Skyhigh
Kiseijuu
Fetish
Ludwig Kakumei
P.S: A comedy is always welcomed. Oh, a nice seinen (w/o too much gore) is also always welcomed.

All I have on my mind of a horror manga right now is uzimaki.
Protect Independent Film
All that we see or seem Is but a dream within a dream. - Edgar Allen Poe
Imagination rules the world. - Napoleon Bonaparte
All men are born with a nose and ten fingers, but no one was born with a knowledge of God. - Voltaire

Here's some I think that doesn't have much gore which are horror/psychological:
Liar Game
Milk Closet
Arcana Soul
Bokurano
Kagome Kagome
Dragon Head
Lost+Brain- [note: like a alternate Death Note version]
Some might contain a slight bit of gore[such as Dragon Head], but nothing too extreme.

I can 100% understand the OP. I am literally terrified of gore and I still can't get the images of Battle Royale out of my head 🤢
Anyway, based on what wasn't on your lists, I'd recommend:
Hatsukanezumi no Jikan - an excellent psychological seinen. Not horror per se, but the author is fantastic at building suspense.
Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro - it's a shounen and thus some story arcs are simplistic in terms of whodunnit, but for the most part I think it's an enjoyable psychological manga that has sprinkles of the supernatural.
Ghost Hunt - deals with ghosts, spirits and things of the occult.
Zashiki Onna - about a man who is stalked by a mysterious woman.
Petshop of Horrors - a mysterious man who sells 'pets' to humans from his shop in Chinatown. At times macabre (not in the visual sense) but a great read.
And since you enjoyed Ludwig Kakumei, you should definitely check out the other manga by Yuki Kaori such as Godchild and Count Cain.
And I second Uzumaki. So far my favourite horror manga.
And there's stuff that I haven't read, so I don't know the gore levels, but they seem to be highly rated:

Thank you for all of your suggestions. I will definitely look into the series I haven't read yet. By the way, I don't really care for stories that are basically like a bunch of oneshots strung together (ex. Petshop of Horrors). I prefer series that have a general storyline if the same cast of characters is kept. It's a wonder I got through School Rumble and the first eight volumes of xxxHolic.
