Well Brazil didn't impress me against North Korea, so we could see an upset. I'm routing for Ivory Coast. They'll need an inspirational Drogba performance.

Brazil plays better when the opponent is good. It has always been like this. That's why we lost to Bolivia and won over Argentina last year...

I believe Brasil willl win, better yet I really want them to win :-)
But I'm also interested how will Italy play against New Zeland! I hope they will get a easy win!!

Its not lame because Brazil has got more flair than any other team out. Its extremely entertaining to watch them play, though I don't think this year they will win. What is irritating is when Italy wins, now that is lame.
EDIT--: Guyz, more discontent amongst the french team, Anelka their starting striker has been kicked out of the team and is going to go home after having supposedly sweared at Domenech during half time in the locker room in the mexico game. I guess he wanted to get a cheaper ticket or something as france looks like they are going to head home as well

You two, my friends, are dead on. Italy being eliminated in the group stage would be a service to football fans around the world. You know, other than Italy fans. And I used to be one of those people that said things like, "Brazil always wins,so I hope they lose." However, I grew up since then, and now, I know how to appreciate greatness. That and Brazil is fun to watch.

omg we actually drew against Italy!! therez gonna be a lot of partying on the streets tonight...go New Zealand!! our keeper was awesome and Italy was just gayyy yeiya am so happy...man this world cup has probaby the most upsets ever

this arguable is the most interesting world cup ever because any one can WIN. and this world cup should have a significant influence on the world rankings.

Interesting in the sense of teams who you would expect to win are not winning yes.
In terms of interesting games, not so much. There are a few gems though.

well italy are natural born divers... last world cup they dive to get through the top8 now they dive to equalized with NZ... damn lame... nelsen slap de rossi on the head saying that he dove...
