You guys can bitch it all you want, but this was probably the best game till now, the first half was amazing. But NK didn't deserve to loose like that!!!

I hope that NK beat IC on their last game.

Now I wanna see what will Spain do!!!

Oh yeah...
PPPPPPPPPPPPPPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRTTTTTTTTTTTUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

That was just an awesome game by portugal. Man ronaldo was so happy to get that goal and end that drought of 2 years. Finally this WC is coming alive.

Great performance by Portugal, also nice to see Ronaldo come to life. That left back of Portugal is looking to be a real good player in this tournament at the moment as well. North Korea played well in the first half, but in the second half it seemed as if a hungrier Portugal came out and played amazing. Due to Portugal's high Goal difference I can't see Ivory Coast qualifying at all now. All in all a great game to watch for the neutral and now I'm looking forward to seeing Chile play Switzerland.

Before I talk about Portugal, I need to say my piece on Brazil and Ivory Coast. Honestly, it was pathetic. Brazil played a great match and deserved to win, even if that second goal by Fabiano was a handball. However, the end of that match was pathetic. That Ivory Coast player who flopped and in turn caused Kaka to get a red card, Kader Keita, is cheap and a disgrace to the game. Complete lack of sportsmanship. If I was FIFA, I would suspend him instead of Kaka. And this seems to be part of the trend of bad refereeing in this World Cup. I like Drogba, but I hope Ivory Coast loses their last match.

Now, on to Portugal. Great showing by a team that is a powerhouse, but hasn't really been given a shot by experts to win it all. It was good to see Ronaldo score a goal. Now what we need is to see Messi score a goal because it'll be a real shame for football fans not to be treated to the greatness he's capable of.

It's called acting. Sometimes it works. In this case it did work.

That's the problem. We want to see soccer. Great matches and goals. If I wanted see acting I'd rather watch movies...

Don't call it acting that makes it almost sound savoury... it's cheating pure and simple.

Exactly. I'm not denying that flopping is a part of the game. It is and has been for a long time. But it takes away from the quality of the game. I don't want to watch someone roll over and grab a body part in "pain". I want to watch the best players on the best teams play great football. I know it's impossible to completely eliminate it, but FIFA should do something that will make players think twice about flopping.

Anyways Keita was at fault but still Kaka should have clearly known better. He had been given a yellow card before and was getting into needless arguments but still i think fifa should penalise these players who act like that after the game when they have seen the replays, I just don't think they should be allowed to just get away with it.

Well chile won against the swiss though they might just regret not putting some of their chances away and increasing their goal difference, seeing as if Spain beats Honduras and chile and the swiss manage to beat honduras it might all just come down to the goal difference.

Here in Brazil, i think, there were some cases where CBF (Brazilian Federation of Soccer) punished players after the game, using tv images. FIFA should do this also, but they think their referees are always right so they don't need to use tv images... That's bad. Just wonder how N. Korea will play against those elephants of Ivory Coast...

No, that was a misunderstanding. 4 players of North Korea never disappeared. They were just absent during the opening match. Someone misreported to NK that they went missing, but they didn't. They're still there.

Yeah, it was just a misunderstanding.

I would understand if they wanted to escape.
But no one knows if they're prisoners in their own country. They could be perfectly happy but we'll never know unless NK opens up. >:

Chile could have done better, the first half were really slow, then they lacked a solid forward...
And fernandez just got the dumbest yellow card of the whole match, missing his chance against spain... even though i never understood what exactly did happen
