You can choose things to defend yourself with from your house. What do you pick?
a sharp metal pipe? -
You must find a place to hide and rally survivors. You'll need supplies and a defensible location. What place do you pick? Basically, choosing your base.
i choose a military installment nearly impregnable to retarded zombies -
You can scout out some local buildings/facilities for supplies and equipment for your "base". Where will you get them?
local? who needs local with a military installment i can hop on a helicopter to get supplies and rescue people obviously with some help from some soldiers -
Tell me what your Plan B is. Basically, your escape plan when zombies are breaching your base.
escape on the helicopters?

I'd take my bat and go to a store. Then i'd take a chainsaw, shotgun, and a sword, the usual zombie killing things 😉
-
my friend's house, she lives near lots of people that wouldn't go down with a few zombies...
-
mall, there are LOTS of things there...
-
take a car and run them over 🤣

my uncle's sword my grandfather's gun and my textbooks and also the phonebook or maybe a dictionary...there are plenty of those in our house and they are very thick so they would lose their conciuosness and then i will execute the double tap while they are unconcious. -

My bike, some bottles of the weird liquor in my house, hairspray, dish clothes, a lighter, a radioactive pen, 2 meters of steel chain and ceramic kitchen knives.
-
Probably that private school close to my house. It has two entrances, three floors, a large black iron and brick fence and enough space on the roof to safely land a helicopter. It should have a pretty decently stocked cafeteria for a small group of people and we can have people watch and snipe zombies from the roof (not that we'd have any guns unfortunately). There's also a lot of food stores a block away from here.
-
There's two larger public school near this, both their cafeterias are stocked as well, they also have things like circular saws and other useful power tools. They also have enough building and electronics supplies to make a small plane. One of them also has some modified drag racing cars.
-
Take whatever we've built, use it to get to the nearest airfield and board a plane for northern Ontario.

1) You can choose things to defend yourself with from your house. What do you pick?
- (if there isn't a limit to how much I can carry..) Crowbar, Hammer, Small knife, scissors, lighters/matches, Metal Pipes, Metal and wooden bat (depends on what I'm bashing, and how fast I want to bash), Chainsaw, Gallons of gasoline, axe, explosives, gun.
2) You must find a place to hide and rally survivors. You'll need supplies and a defensible location. What place do you pick? Basically, choosing your base.
The mall. They have metal doors that are shut tight (hopefully enough that zombies can't claw their way in.)
3) You can scout out some local buildings/facilities for supplies and equipment for your "base". Where will you get them?
Walmart. __
4) Tell me what your Plan B is. Basically, your escape plan when zombies are breaching your base.
I'll go to the roof, and attempt to drop explosives at the crowd of zombies. If that doesn't work.. maybe I'll drop heavy-textbooks. And if THAT doesn't work, I'll shower those zombies in gasoline and somehow try to get close to them, get a lighter and hairspray, and light them on fire. If some are still twitching around, I'll use my crowbar. Then.. a chainsaw...

Depends which house, really. Some guns and ammunition and few knives, I guess.
2) You must find a place to hide and rally survivors. You'll need supplies and a defensible location. What place do you pick? Basically, choosing your base.
Wouldn't hospital or mall be a good place? Actually, I think I'd just leave the country for a while.
3) You can scout out some local buildings/facilities for supplies and equipment for your "base". Where will you get them?
If I was stupid enough to stay, I guess I'd get some food from the closest store, guns and ammunition at a weapons store if there is one, and some bloodhounds from a local pet shop (they must have them), and then use the bloodhounds to protect me (and also for emergency rations if I run out of food).

I guess I'd lock myself up properly and took my time reading Zombie Survival Guide: Complete Protection from the Living Dead.

Oh, I have been itching for some zombie manga recently... and realized that the best way to deal with zombies is to go back to the middle ages with melee combatants: Heavy armor, tall walls and a long spear.
- Depends on the types of zombie apocalypse.
1.a) Drooling, moaning and slow classics zombies: Anything to make a heavily armored suit. I realized that most zombies can't use tools so they are more or less walking meat sacks with teeth. A heavy thick plate armored medieval knight can punch through a horde of zombies with some trouble but should be well protected enough.
1.b) Zombies that can use tools (Resident Evil 4&5) and/or special zombies (L4D): Light to medium armor such as thick leather armor (medieval style is still the best) or thick clothes (scratch/bite resistance) are ideal. A long, 1.5m-2m long pole is also a good addition. It's easy to use with little training and provides excellent thrust power to make a zombie falls.
Oh yeah, "How to survive a zombie apocalypse for dummies" book. Always need that.
- Again, depends on the type of zombie and whether I'm in an urban area or suburb area.
2.a) Slow zombies: Mall/building is general ideal for suburb. Easily spotted from air and large enough room to build something nice on top. Commercial buildings are nice for urban areas but subway tunnels are the best places. They are easily defended and you can expand from region to region to seek for supplies as long as the subways aren't exposed. Most subway tunnels will connect to some form of mall or market place for supplies so it's the best place for an urban area.
2.b) Fast/Smart/Special zombies: Forts, old castle and such are ideal for suburbs. Malls are also ok if there is a large amount of barricade (so they zombies won't climb or smash their way into the building). For urban area: subway tunnels.
-
Shopping malls and hardware stores. Particularly for urban areas, market place and local stores. Urban areas are especially dangerous for hunting and gathering stuff without proper protection. However, suburbs can really kill you if you aren't close to a shopping mall.
-
If in a castle/forts: it'd be best to fight them back and close the opening. However, if that's impossible: get-away car... zoooom zooom... If Mall/shopping center: Move to the next safe building or get away in a car. If subway tunnel: the tunnel is a very well defended place but it's also a death trap. Ideally, a secret opening to the surface is best for a get away.
Oh man you guys are the first to go then. Rule number one when dealing with a zombie apocalypse, stay away from crowds!
-
I'd take a baseball bat, one of those Army compact shovels, a small axe, some rope (so I can climb high trees, safest place to sleep), and a rubber hose to siphon gas, oh and warm thermal style clothing.
-
Yeah.....screw survivors, I'd take one of my step dads bikes, and head north, until I find a nice little town that's out of the way. Once there I would set up a camp in the woods near the town, building my shelter in the treeline.
-
From said town, if it's deserted I would just loot the town, if not I would be stealing, hopefully it's got a good hardware store that sells rifles. As for food, that's tricky, but Rice would be number one on my list, that and jerky.
-
Set up a defensible area in the beginning of the treeline, to fire said rifle from. I'd also make some makeshift napalm set up with a wire trigger, in case of a breach. Have my bike parked in a nearby copse that has a trail (made by me if necessary) to have an easy escape while zombies burn.
Maybe I'd take a dog too, but it all depends on taking the bike or a truck.
