All good anime do not exceed 100 episodes. Anime that exceed 100 episodes exist for the sole purpose of being milked and getting kids to buy the inevitable merchandise. 😮

I like my anime series to be 12-25 episodes long depending on the content. If there's a lot to be said and elaborated on, then I'd rather have 25 episodes, but if that's not the case, then I don't like any dragging in the anime or that they add some unnecessary drama.

Well I prefer longer series actually so I'd probably stick with an anime up to 75 eps tops.

25 episodes seems like the ideal number for me. 50 or os episodes shows can be alright sometimes. Longer than that and it starts to bore me.

True when they break 100 it gets tedious and annoying, it's usually based on a weekly manga series though. They always manage to catch up to the manga and end up having filler arcs too...

I prefer 26 myself for most since it allows for enough time to get everything done well without resorting to cutting content or being rushed.

That said, I particularly dislike super short series, 4 episodes to go through an entire game is just too rushed (tales of phantasia/symphonia)...

Anyways, i like between 12 and 26 episodes.

maybe even less if it can be done right like FLCL

12-25 for me too. Animes longer than that were the sole reason why I stopped watching anime in the first place. And I'd prefer it if the anime is done after the manga is completed or when the manga is close to its end, that way there would be no need to make an alternative ending or add crappy fillers.

Yeah I agree. 12 - 25/26 is good for me.

I'm not a huge anime watcher, but when I do fancy watching some, I seriously can't be asked to go into one that exceeds 26. Even 26 episodes are a challenge. I get hooked on them, and there is only so many I can watch in a day. God you should of seen what I was like when I was watching Code Geass. I religiously watched both seasons in 2 weeks XD I pulled all nighters for that one 🤣

I prefer up to 50. At this length, more background information can be given about the characters and/or it can be a very intricate story, without becoming redundant.

I prefer around 25 episodes...an anime with 12/13 episodes can't be that good...Elfen Lied is an execption

Any length under 30 episodes is fine with me. What's more important is how good the story is.

I have absolutely no patience for those mainstream shounen 100+ episodes anime full of repetitive crap. If I like the story, I will just read the manga instead. But I doubt any manga I like are those types.

Anime adapted from manga are usually NOT good if they change the plot too much. That's just a fact.

I seriously have no patience for long anime, especially ones that require downloading.
If it's good I guess I can sit through 12 or even more.

Kigeki was really good.

I prefer the long 100+ animes. Generally I only watch an anime for series that can be hard for me to understand by just reading the manga, like One Piece and D.Gray Man. If I watch the episode that corresponds with the manga chapter, it's easier for me to comprehend.

I mean, I don't rely solely on the anime to understand, it just helps things glide along.

Somewhere in the range of 25-50 is what I like, depending on the anime itself. Sometimes, I feel like they're rather rushed when they have the generally limited 24 episodes, and don't include all that they should. Sometimes, they're too long though, with just those, and seem to drag.... so I guess it just depends on the anime.
