i don't really think spanking helps that much. i was never spanked, and i turned out okay i guess 🤣 when i got yelled at as a kid, it usually just made me more stuborn, so i cant imagine what spanking would do. i don't think it would make someone respect their parents more either, prolly more of the opposite.

When kids get spanked for something bad that they've done, they know not to do that thing again, or else they'll feel the same kind of pain.

It's better than talking, grounding, or time-outs.
