I don't know what the rules are in the USA, but in Australia the legal age of sexual consent is 16yrs old, 18yrs old is considered Adult/Drinking/Smoking age. Anyone caught having sex with anyone under that age even if it was consensual is charged with satutory rape. Except maybe if your an Aboriginal in the Northern Territory and can possibly argue cutural reasons under customary law(Currently being reviewed) generally the Comonweath can consider it but gereally does not approve of it.

Some countries do have different rules. As for your Anime and Manga habits it's your own preferance, but I think if you are looking at stuff with 14yr olds or younger in it involving sex you might want to think again.

For me it depends on the situation and age. I it's just sex and not an actual story I won't read. Also if like say the adult is thirty and kid twelve, then I have a problem even if they do supposedly "love" each other. Story also has to be well done, like all others I read.
