this is one extreme topic. lolicon has to do with under the age of consent right? sex with babies and children is pretty disgusting but i feel that applies to real life.

unless it is clearly a baby i'd say comics shouldn't be hated on so much. it's just a drawing that pleases someones fantasies. frankly i think people are over reacting also. there are many people who don't develop according to the general view of what someone should age as.

along those lines i'll relate my statement to a game. Disgaea consists of characters who are thousands of years old yet look pretty damn young. their bodies aren't super developed but they are within the "age of consent". what are your thoughts on hentai relating to this series?

doesn't this all have to just do with the mentality of the participant at hand? you can't help what you are attracted to. furthermore lets say for you guys that your wife has no breasts at all. she looks prepubescent. does that make u a pedo for being attracted to it? i think not. unless someone is getting violated against their will, i think this topic shouldn't be an issue.

Has anyone heard of the German comic Losing Neverland? I was just browsing through stuff and it looked really interesting. It was talked about as speaking out /against/ shotacon and child abuse in general. Don't flame me I'm just curious if you have heard of this series?

Where is the line drawn for loli/shoto/etc? Is it full on hardcore depiction? Is it something that is just suggestive? A drawing of an 8 year old eating a popsicle while wearing a swimsuit could be purely innocent or harbor deeper currents. What about anyone playing Idol Master on xbox? That seems a bit weird to me. I don't plan on playing that game, but I wouldn't call anyone else playing that game a pedo either.

I know the manga! its pretty great! the story itself is very touching. the whole anti-shota-abuse-thing is just a sidestory, the mainstory is very good, and the pictures too. its also out in english! I got it in german and english!

more infos about it are to finde here:

or here http://www.butter-and-cream.com

if you don't like shota you will love it,and if you like shota, the manga MAKES YOU THINK. thats pretty unusual for comics!its a great work!°

Very hard to comment on this topic.

First, there are quite a few works(even novels) about forbidden romance. Lolita comes to mind. And people like to read about "forbidden" issues. It's their escape from reality, I think.

Secondly, there are also those who've the ability to distinguish what's written on paper from reality. That's why there're also those who can enjoy "snuff" or even act out in "snuff" films but are otherwise, ordinary humans like you and me.

Finally, it's fiction and most of this is quite distant from reality. If it was really fiction that came close to reality, then there'd be images of suicide, murder and even psychological issues that come with the emotional truama. The kids would be broken and grow up into a bunch of adults who might have problems with issues of sexuality or even gender issues.

I haven't heard of this manga (or manga-style comic?) is it available in the US? I didn't see it on Amazon and I can't read German (on the site links).

(psst, maybe Bully can help!)

But the thread topic and personal thoughts notwithstanding, I think its interesting that manga and the manga style are popular and embraced enough outside Japan to incite the writing of a manga-style comic, specifically aimed at social commentary against an issue within manga.
I guess on the face of it, it might sound hypocritical, but could this be a "fighting fire with fire" situation?
I mean, whether the issue is right or wrong or whatever, its neat to see someone doing a little more than copy popular stuff and do something with it as a tool.
But all that said, I still haven't heard of the series before! dead

I seriously don't care how young people like their fictitious characters. Babyfuck comes to mind here.

I love lolicon, comic LO, etc...Is it because I'm a pedophile? You can think what you want, but really, I don't like little girls.

And all of you people whining about people who can't distinguish reality from fantasy, those people make up a tiny minority of people who consume this media, and they should be in a mental institution anyway if it's that bad. Look at Japan's rape rate anyway, way lower than the US, where, if you even suggest that someone under 18 is sexual, you'll be stamped as a pedo and given the evil eye forever.

I can't wait to get my pens and ink, because it is my intention to draw for a loli magazine someday.

Loli is hot, Shota is hot, hell its all drawn better than the usual hairy pussies that I see in my normal hentai.

Is it manga you people were talking aboutconfused Looks like you were off subject. but really it is up to the person down loading. Only trouble is when your other finds it and you have to explan it away. That can get hairy indeed.

But mine is most of the time is loaded in as dujion of say negima or such some other or in a set book with other stories under . It is drawn Better than most. But what Loli says is more like a bit from childhood roll eyes.

Some of the colour pics of manga around are from these and no one puts a fuss up. such as a lot shoots from peti rob (the robot one three girl bot's given to a guy by grampa. by the end they get all sorts of up grades)
