teenager boy x teenager boy = yaoi
teenager boy x adult man = yaoi
little boy x little boy = shota
little boy x adult man = shota
little boy x teenager boy = shota

It might be illegal to an adult man to have a relationship with 16 year old boy but when you have that kind of thing in a manga, you call it yaoi. For example Nee, Sensei and Calorie are both yaoi although the first one has adult x teenager relationship and the second one teenager x teenager.

I love shotacon to a manga or anime extent considering that both are fiction-based and it's yaoi (I'm a yaoi fan) so real-life child pornography is out of the question.

I like shotacon because it's cute,adorable and shows that anime/manga children can be considered mature enough [than real children] since they realize their own feelings and are not afraid to express it, let alone do something about it whilst some grown-ups hide their feelings even to the point of death... ok, the grown-up thing is a bit of an exaggeration but you get the idea.

I never been much of a fan of either, I can't stand lolicon, but shotacon can be really good if it has a good story with it. But somehow finding that "good story" can be really tough....

i am more inclined to read lolicon, like Osakabe Mashin's Kindan series. But i would like these women to have a womans figure not that of a child. I guess there is something there between younger woman/teenagers [definitely not children, i guess i like them with curves 🙂 ] and slightly older men [20s-30s] that kind of catches my attention.
