Is it even neccesary to mention anime titles in this thread? 90% of the endings in anime suck because they don't cover all of the manga: they just cut off, or make up their own ending.

I'm still working on most of the longer series, but Hot Gimmick really pissed me off. I thought surely some of the characters would grow stronger and change.

I love the ovas and the regular series of rurouni kenshin. the ending of the ovas was indeed depressing and i was disappointed that they ended the series after 3 seasons. 😢

the ending of witch hunter robin wasn't all that bad...it just got me wondering about the person who stepped out of the car..heh. but the show was great even though it was short.

didn't like the ending of paradise kiss...can't believe she didn't go with george. 😔

Hikaru no Go -- I was turning over the last page and thought, that was it? I know it can't go on forever but I felt it ended too abruptly, without any kind of resolution.

Almost every anime I've ever seen has a un-satisfying ending. Except for uh........ for uh........................

Most animes based on mangas, because they don't follow the whole story, don't have that great of endings, from my own experience.

Probably the only ending of a manga so far that I didn't like is from Ichigo 100% the manga. Other than that one, ive liked all the endings of anything else ive read and watched so far.

i kinda liked the ending for ichigo 100%. as for an ending...the anime version ending of rurouni kenshin.

Oh well every1 has their fav. girl. (Toujou Aya 🙁 ) I agree with the Rurouni Kenshin Anime ending. I didn't like it at all. I enjoyed the manga version though.

I'd like to add Fruits Basket to my list.. Stupid Kyo.. I wanted the YukixTohru ending.. Or atleast a MomijixTohru ending.. It's not like I hated Kyo.. I just have a certain infatuation with "The main girl ending up with the main guy" situation.. Or atleast have one of the two killed off.. Makes for a tragic ending..
Just the same.. I didn't like the specific pairings at the end of H2.. Somewhere along the middle it looked like it could be switched around.. But unfortunately it stayed the same..

Most disappointing ending? Definitely Shaman King... I was just.. "WTF is going on? What happened to all the fights? Aren't they going to kill Hao?"

Second most disappointing ending: Hikaru no Go. Actually, once Sai disappeared, I was already tired of the series. But of course, they had to kill off Sai (though he was already dead >_>;😉 or Hikaru won't "shine" persay.

Anime endings I didn't like: Gakuen Alice, Host Club, and DN Angel. Personally, I think that if you're going to end an anime before the manga does, make sure it makes sense. Host Club? The two fathers will never argue about making Haruhi their sons' wife. It's just impossible and totally not in-character. Makes me soooo mad. And Gakuen Alice and DN Angel? Well, just read a summary and you'll know what I'm talking about. -__- Stupid Gakuen Alice anime made the story seem so happy... Looking at recent chapters.. Hah, what innocence?

I didn't like the ending of Hana Kimi. I'm sorry to say it but the ending sucked! Actually all gender bender manga and or anime sucked (i.e. I, My, Me, Strawberry Egg). I loved Hana Kimi and all but the ending just really stunk. ><
