It was a lame-ass happy ending. It lacked emotion, it was just kind of there, like the mangaka just ran out of things to say. There was no complexity, no interest. It was a plain yogurt ending.

The ending of The Demon Ororon blew chunks as did Banana Fish.

If you're gonna kill the main character kill 'em in the first panel. Don't make me love them and then take them away.

I have to agree with that! I hated that ending 🙁 The manga was pretty good overall, though.
I also didn't like the Chobits ending, just because I felt sorry for Hideki, and also slightly let down after loving it the whole way through.

They spent the whole time leading me on with 'Chi is one of the chobits, a legendary persocom - something must be different about her', and then ended with, 'actually, she's not that different at all'.

I must be the only person here who actually liked the ending of Hot Gimmick - which might be a bad thing. I just prefered Ryouki over the others (interpret that as you will 🙂 )

The Fruits Basket anime had a bad ending (imo) - there was no closure on the curse or anything, just an acceptance of it (and that sucks) - it's leaving the story half finished. I do think that the Gravitation anime finished well - although it left out a quarter of the manga. Are there plans to make a Gravitation EX anime? I don't know if it needs the sequel, as it ended pretty well (but if you disagree, I'm open to debate).

I hated the ending for the fullmetal alchemist anime. The movie then did some stuff but that also had a bad ending and the ovas also did not rlly help much.

I don't know if the anime followed the manga storyline, but I hated the ending for Monster.

For the entire series it seemed to me that mangaka tried everything to have the audience to hate Johan (who, btw, is the first mortal fictional character I know to have been shot twice in the head and live) and what does he have the main character Tenma do? Save his a**. Twice. Once was ok since he was ignorant of Johan and Johan was what, a innocent looking 10 year old. But saving Johan a second time after he tried to get an entire town massacred? He really should have been killed. If not that, at least show him receiving some sort of punishment for his crimes instead of disappearing from what looked to be a pretty good hospital. Wierd how everyone who wanted Johan dead spared his life.

I didn't like the ending of the wolf's rain manga. It was too rushed, like the writer didn't want to draw more.

And from anime I didn't like the endings of elfen lied and utawarerumono, because it were endings were you could put a whole further story on.

And of course like anyone I wanted Light to win in de death note anime and manga.

Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien- too sad -.-

La corda d'oro- gayyy she dont choose any1. totally pointless -.-

Kannazuki no Miko- i THOUGHT she would choose da guy.. but she choose DA GIRL. -.-. and yah, the anime sucks.

Ouran high-school host club- stopped 2 early. the manga is still ongoing. ending was gay; again she didnt choose any1.

Inukami- Love kinda progressed but.. not much -.-

Fruits Basket- she didnt choose any1 -.-. MANGA wayyyy better.

Paradise kiss- she was going 4 1 guy the WHOLE TIME and RIGHT in the end she marries sum1 else -.-. lameee

Kare Kano- they shoulda continued da anime cuz da ending in the manga is so crazy. anime ending for Kare Kano was okay.. but again, they shoulda went all the way.

I was happy with the ending for Kimi ga Nozomu Eien only for the girl he chose in the end. The ending was mixed with sadness (and I mean sadness that could send someone into depths of depression 🤣 ), and happiness

I feel evil for hating Haruka (especially after she woke up >.<) I know the situation couldn't be helped...but I hated her for well...being in the way :haha:

Really...the drama was almost too much for me ;_; Still love it though.
