Who's been to Japan

I've been to Japan twice, this past summer and the summer before it. Both times for school though, so I wasn't really able to do the things I really wanted to or go to the places I wanted to see. I got into Tokyo on some of my free days, and same with Chiba (I was in Tougane and Gumyo area in Chiba-ken for the most part), and the first year I even traveled to Kamogawa to spend the first week there studying at the campus there.
I would like to go back to vacation and enjoy myself this summer...as both my older sister and I are getting our Bachelor's from college, and we deserve a break. But, at this point in time, I'm more likely to get my second wanted trip-an Amtrak ride from Chicago to Seattle (I know, I have strange travel wishes).
At the very least though, I was offered a scholarship to attend graduate school at the university I spent the past two summers studying at. It's a new campus, and it's the first time having my major (Computer Graphics Technology), so I may be going back over there to spend a whole year there this time. It all depends on how my next semester, ie my last one at the college I'm currently attending, works out. And, of course, how me getting a job works out.

In regards to the poll answers... what the heck is Japantown? A Japanese version of Chinatown? And what exactly is China town? I'm assuming it's a town devoted to Chinese culture, but I really don't know...

Japantown is kinda like Chinatown devoted to it's culture. Japantown is located in San Fransisco in California (I think). I've been there once when I was little.

Japantown is kinda like Chinatown devoted to it's culture. Japantown is located in San Fransisco in California (I think). I've been there once when I was little.
I thought it was meant just as a joke... but not surprising that at least one major city would have a Japanese neighborhood.
And China town would be where you go to buy cheap groceries, and bootleg ... well pretty much anything.

I'm going to Japan for spring break this year. Signed up and everything. We're visiting Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and Nara. We're staying at an onsen too. I'm kind of really freaking excited.

I've been twice now. I hope to one day live there. I've stayed there for two months by myself now. It really was a blast! The most fun ever! I hope to stay longer the nex time I go.
