This is just for my own curiousity but what is the worst manga you have ever read and why? Did you finish it or drop it? What made you hate it and is there any possible way for the manga to be redeemed?

The worst manga ive ever read has to be Kanojo ga cafe ni kayou wake i hated the art and the characters were very 2d and some where whiney brats. i didnt enjoy it. Im sure there is worse but i dont remember them.

can't answer this, if a manga doesn't appeal to me I just dropped it without second thoughts 🤢 , so I like all the mangas I read to a certain degree

Plot wise I'd say Air Gear, but it is beautifully drawn so I guess it can't really go down as "worst manga". 😮 And yeah, Naruto is probably topping the "Used to be great but now sucks"-list.

For me, it would have to be Perfect Girl Evolution. I dislike the art, and the story is repetitive to the point that not even the humor in the story would have kept me reading.

Vampire Knight, hands down for shoujo. I've read a lot of manga, but this manga is just...... BLAH. |-_-| The beginning was somewhat decent but the characters and the storyline are like nowhere near dynamic or surprising or anything.

This one..
Girl in Heels
Bizarre art.. Usually I dont mind strange art but it looks to me like she was trying to make an extra flowery shoujo.. And the result is strange..

I dropped a lot of them but some I hate so much yet I still read them. 😕 For instance Wolf Guy, it's a pretty popular manga but I just can't stand how graphic the scenes are and how some points don't make sense and how I feel the author downplays rape and massacre. But I'm always in line to read it. Aido was terrible and I'm ashamed to say I finished it. Perfect Girl Evolution became a complete snooze Fairy Tail never held my attention long enough and Skip Beat was boring as well. Oh and Midnight Secretary made me feel unclean so I washed my hands of that pretty quick. Those aren't the worst but they're the ones that come to mind as really not my taste.

IO is hands-down the most God-awful series ever. Seriously, every time it comes to mind, the idea of axe-murdering every person in the vicinity comes with it.

The story started out like a cute comedy-romance (Ai Yori Aoshi, Umi no Misaki, Love Hina, ect.), but about 3/4 of the way through the story the mangaka totally and completely fks it up.
For most of the story the guy has his eyes on one girl and things start to heat up. Then, right before the conclusion, the protagonist goes on a year-long world tour, f
ks a random chick, gets her pregnant, forces the girl to basically kill her own sister (her only living relative for f**k's sake) and then abandons her to raise the child alone, running back into the arms of the woman he abandoned back in Japan. Not only that, but instead of confessing and asking for forgiveness, he whispers a general "sorry shrug" to the girl, not telling the reason for the apology, and just brushes it off like nothing. Then the story ends.

Mother-f**king !@#%!#@$#!^%

Damn, this story literally f**ked me up for a solid month after reading. NEVER READ THIS!!!!

I really didn't like Akan Baby I really was annoyed that the characters were complete morons, and ended up as morons in a situation that couldn't possible happen. To me, their lives would just continue on and they would eventually end up in utter misery. i also can not longer stand Faster Than A Kiss, i used to like it but every chapter is one cleche after another, it is like there is a manual of situations a boy and girl can get into and the righter just goes from that. Ohh, and also deep love, i like them, but at the same time, i hate them, they are so hopeless, they never end with anything other than an utterly hopeless situation. The people in them are such lovely people, but they are always crushed by society, to me, there is no point in that, it doesn't change anything, just makes the readers sink into depression, just like the classic by F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby, it is completely hopeless.

Oh my god, i just read what TRMshadow's most hated manga is and why, I utterly agree with you, I mean, I have read some annoying ones but that sounds bone crushingly depressing through and through, not to mention totally immoral... oh my god, just reading your explanation makes me depressed, no wonder you were messed up up for a whole month.
