Pokemon was awesome!!! I loved it so much but then... they started adding more and more and more and more pokemon.... 🤢 The originals were the best!!!

I was really happy with 150-151, and still happy with 251, but now a lot of the pokemon aren't really worthwhile. And I'm really unhappy with how the new ones aren't quite as much like animals as the old ones.

Some of the new pokemon... i have no idea out of who's doped up imagination they come out. They should do a drug bust of the pokemon HQ to see of the creative designers are doing LSD or something.

I agree with most people here. I was perfectly contempt with the first 151-251 pokémons, but now i can't tell one apart from the other...

I thought G/S/C were an improvement, actually - adding new Pokemon on top of the original Pokedex is what made it acceptable. I don't think the main problem with the following games was that it added even more Pokemon, but rather that they removed some from the games so that it was still 150 or so - only now without some of our old favourites. That just sucked.

I was recently getting homesick for the original Pokemon so I bought Pokemon Leaf Green for GBA to play on my DS.

The pre-GBA games were the most enjoyable since Red Blue and Yellow started it all and Gold Silver and Crystal just made it better. After that though, it gets redundant and not as enjoyable (or maybe I just hated the fact that I could no longer duplicate items w/o a 3rd party device >:-( ). I agree with Digital-Eon on how my favorites from before never make into the sequel and the fact that by yourself, it's impossible to obtain all of them. The GBA era games and DS games were enjoyable and good ways to kill lots of free time, but not so much as the pre-GBA games did.

Also agree... after the 151 first it was ridiculous... well silver/gold/crystal wasn't that bad either. But I didn't really like how they added so many random pokemon in there either... And they weren't even rare... it's the exact opposite, the old ones are the ones that became rare... (where is the logic in that?)
And I want my charizard back! lol
