I liked the original 150. The show was simple, and I could remember all the pokemon. not to mention the games were so addicting I almost fried my gameboy. 🤣

I liked it up 'til Gold/Silver/Crystal... I still play the newer versions, but G/S/C was the best for me : P. I LOVED how you had to play and collect badges in both regions <33
They need that in the new version... If there'll be another one >__>;;

The new pokemon are all so unoriginal and dumb. The old ones are awesome. If it weren't for Pikachu, I wouldn't even bother watching the newer ones with my brother when he asks me to.

i liked it up until 250, i think it was...
than it got all complicated, and the new pokemons
seemed like all made up out of whim....
now they got like what, a 1000, that you know youll only
see for a week or two, and BAM, another 1000 came out...
i like simple shit....

Pokemon needs to end, it's gone on for way tooooooo long.
Ohhhh, I didn't notice this was in the games forum, I thought i was just the actual pokemon in general. The games are still good xD Though they are a little repetative.

Well most of the first 150 were ok, then in g/s/c there were a few mutants, in r/s there were a lot of mutants. 80% of the p/d pokemon look like they were grown in a nuclear reactor

With about 1000+ in the roster, those moves would not probably catch up. So no matter how many different pokemons we get, it'll be like, say, getting a Bulbasaur with a template of a Chikorita -.-
And character designs must be running out now that they're giving old pokemons new post evolutionary stages like Slowking, Kingdra, Crobat and pre-evolutionaries like Elekid and Magby. Who knows, maybe next time they'll give us a Kyogre Junior, Baby Groudon, or even a Togeking -.-

All of that started during the second season really. But in gold and silver, it was fine. I actually thought that it was interesting to hatch an egg and to tame pokemon. It makes kids think and not be quite so reckless.
But beyond what they did in gold and silver, it'd be way too much.

it was much better but the new ones look cooler now if they incorporated all the games in to one being able to get like 30 badges i would probably get that game i havnt bought one since gold and silver but oh well
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

The rest look like robots.
They don't look nice and I can't even
name one.
Agreed. When I saw the new ones for the 4th Generation, they looked more like man-made machines then the animals they're supposed to be based off of.
And where the hell is my lion pokemon? >:-(

Now THAT would be awesome. That's what made Crystal a fan favorite, being able to go back to Kanto.
And facing Red in that cave was EPIC.

Just because someone's head was chopped off doesn't mean they're dead. That's just silly.

Pokemon would've remained alright had they continued to be a progressive IP.
But since they decided it was easier to do the same thing over and over again, pokemon became bland, boring, and outdated.
I still cannot fathom why they don't do revamp the series every few games. Do something like make it so you actually control your pokemon in the battle (similar to how custom robo does it.) Then they'd all of a sudden be big again.
Also had trouble figuring out why its not an MMO.

a pokemon mmo would make insane amounts of money.
"Let's put a smile on that face."
Agreed. They get uglier and uglier! D: 😔
