Are there any manga's (preferably action, with a bit of comedy) that have immortal main character's?
No vampire immortals, but zombie type immortals are fine. I really prefer a non-monster human type immortal
similar titles:
Raiders
immortal rain
zombie loan(not sure but, were they immortal?)
Code Geass

how about dragonball... theoratically everyone in this story is immortal, cause no matter how much u think that guys ganna die and ull never see him again, u always see him again... including the villians, with those hell specials..... dragonball, though was unique since it was the only story prior to its own theme of having a story material introduced that prevents viewers to doubt any predictions, and could make its story telling in a very large range....
though there were cases where there were villians in DBZ movies that asked for immortality, and the only way of defeating them was to either trap them in a different dimension like the very first movie with garlic? but since u said main character, i guess sorry if this doesnt count...
"berserk" count? i "gutts" kinda seem to have the "god of fate" protecting his fate from death? the one that controls destiny where griffith got his powers? or am i talking stupid?
claymore? immortal as in "u dont die and/or mortal wounds dont kill u?" or " you just cant be killed, period... like ure god?"... since they cant age nor be mortally or fatally wounded which kills them even if they have their ends where they turn into those wakened beings, they not themselves but still they didnt die, just lost part of their domain consciousness
HOW ABOUT ONE PIECE?? does that count, since that oda, seems to refuse to kill off his characters, even the minor/extra characters... so technically this story also everyones immortal? lol

definately seconding blade of the immortal, sounds exacting like what you want. and also maybe akumetsu? the main guy is kind of immortal, see how you like it i guess.
also what you said inspired me, also would like to know any series about immortal zombies. like the lead is a traditional "dawn of the dead" zombie, only maybe intelligent? would make an awesome shounen romance

Hmmm Suikoden series?...they're immortal due to the True Runes as in they don't age, they won't get sick or hungry but they CAN die if fatally wounded...

The Dogs series, can't believe this hasn't been mentioned yet.
Eh... Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan (never actually read this, but kinda seems like one since she always revives him...)?
And Nabari no Ou (only side character so far...)?
Btw JAm1, where is your avatar from?

Dogs and its sequel has one of the main protagonists with advanced healing (essentially immortal).
I've only seen the anime, you might want to look up Baccano! (light novel).
Oh, and I third Blade of the Immortal.

I second Dogs and the sequell, but I'm not sure if it count as immortality, I don't remember anyone stating those types are immortal,
but only having inhuman healing and fighting capabilities
(Maybe spoiler~?)
Anyways,
I think Kurozuka's main character is immortal (haven't read it myself yet). Action, but not comedic I assume.
Blame. Didn't find it on your reading lists. I think everything I might say about it will spoil because there's so little revealed at first and at all...
Again, it's action but not comedic~
Hrodulf and Bjornolfr, you will not be forgotten.

Eat-Man: very good manga the man is immortal can eat metal and no matter what happens nothing will happen to him.
