yea I know it has the cover and the name, but can it really be called mature? It's more of a ecchi manga if you ask me, a lot of the ecchi manga has gone further I believe

what do you guys think

Without even reading the manga and just the description and seeing the cover, i would say yes that is a "mature" manga as it has SM involved, lol

If it does not have scenes of intercourse, then
I wouldn't name it mature.

how is intercourse only mature?? You wouldn't teach a child what SM is, lol

S&M themes are usually classified as mature, aren't they?
It fits the mangaka too...~

Why not?
In my opinion, mature = something with sex in it + plot.
Hentai = something with only very graphic sex in it.
Since they are generally joking about it, I wouldn't
count it as anything serious.

we're not talking about hentai, we're talking about mature. And i just read first chapter, can tell it's heading in a mature way, also the first part...you can have comedy + mature all you want but it's still mature. It's like telling a joke naked...it's still classified as mature, lol.

We are not talking about hentai, yes, but
mature is hentai with a plot.
This is no way mature.
I just read it too and I don't really
see anything that might melt the
kids' brains.

I dont see the manga (it´s not my type) but for the image in mangaupdates it seems mature (Contains subject matter which may be too extreme for people under the age of 17). 😛 But it can be only ecchi.
🙂 😎

Mature manga that don't involve sex could be be ones such as:

Vagabond
Berserk, ok there's a little but that's nothing compared to the violence.
Claymore

All three of those are very violent and I'm sure there are parents out there that wouldn't want their kids reading it.

Examples of manga that have sexual content but aren't Hentai:
Futari Ecchi
My Balls
Kodomo no Jikan, though this doesn't have the mature tag, I think it really should...

These all have sexual content and absolutely deserve the Mature label.

As for that, I'm sure there are parents out there that do not want their childeren exposed to what they consider vulgar, and I think S&M falls in there. Therefore, I think the mature label is warranted.

Agreed

I see what you guys are saying, but consider this if you read it, it's really not that bad. There's nothing to be censored unlike the other title mentioned here

And let's be honest here, when you are 13 you pretty much know what's what, you probably won't know some technical terms, but some of them still do.

So basically nothing you don't already know. So isn't a ecchi tag more suitable? 😉 😉 😉

I think S&M themes should be classified as mature too, but it should be more clear as the story progresses.
