I've grown extremely weary of yaoi and shounen-ai with a bland plot and stopped touching most of it for at least a year or 2. I've read quite a lot of yaoi and shounen-ai including G-Defend, Viewfinder, Narajaya, Okane ga Nai, Komatta and many series by Tojoh Asami, KODAKA Kazuma, Yuu Higuri, Dr. Ten and many other sh-ai/yaoi authors, etc.

So, I'm currently looking for some unlicensed series with sound and cohesive plot, including good pacing(not scenes which take like 3 to 6 volumes to cover), etc. I don't mind sci-fi, fantasy, horror, supernatural, slice of life, etc., etc. as long as the plot makes sense and there are interesting and varied characters and situations.

I can put up with almost any kinda sex scenes except for extreme violent or disgusting stuff like scat, guro, necrophilia, etc.

Does anyone have anything good to recommend?

For now, I can think of the summit a shouen-ai manhwa.
The tyrant who fell in love - it's not on your lists.. Verry funny yaoi, but I'm not sure how sound it is...

Love Mode - this is much better than the summary makes it sound and I enjoyed it though I don't read much shounen ai/yaoi because of the lack of plot.

But it gets silly sometimes..
If you'd choose to read it, you can also read Silver Diamond -It's by the same manga-ka and resembles it a little.. It's licensed, but you can find scans of it to download (you couldn't before..).

Firstly, check out Naono Bohra's works. They have plot and the relationship development is really good. No stories in the line of 'he-raped-me-but-it-was-so-good-i-still-love-him', ugh. However most of Naono-sensei's works are oneshots, sadly.
Otona no Mondai <-- not really a yaoi, but it has shounen-ai elements. The tale's rather interesting.

Care to read a shounen ai novel perhaps? I love Mirage of Blaze. Solid plot. Very thrilling, passionate novel. Very deep, very poignant. No other BL comes close. There's a manga too, but the scans are really slow.

Let dai : a must read (there is no happy ending) 10 out of 10
sakura gari : heart breaking (including rape) 9 out of 10
new york new york : a lot of romance 8 out of 10 (because of the poor art but still excellent)
yume musubi koi musubi : i love the idea 8 of 10 ( perhaps some shota)
Complex : if you love (very) long stories this is for you 7 out of 10
