Out of the miniscule amount of manga that ive read. I've gotta say:
- Blame/Biomega, any of nihei's works.
- Berserk, nice gritty feel
- Hellsing, violence!!
- Battle Angel Alita, I think it's drawn pretty well

I think Bride of the Watergod has the most beautiful artwork.
Here are some of my close runner-ups:
xxxHolic
Lament of the Lamb (simple, yet almost charcoal)
Night of Moon and Water
Homunculus (He did a wonderful job on the inner-monsters)
bara no Tameni (generally all around great art)

Blue Heaven. its drawn so well, you should try it. the story isnt that long, and its quite philosophic, although the plot isnt one of the best i know.
I'm surprised nobody here mentioned C.A.T.
I love the artwork here. It gives the whole series a strong "stealthy" feel to it.
I also love the art in Air Gear. They put so much detail into everyone's clothing, thus making the art fluid and allowing the reader to easily visualize everyone's movements.

I liked the art of Air Gear lots and lots even though I didn't like the manga itself. And of course there are numerous shoujo series with gorgeous art. Tanemura Arina's work is just beautiful as is Takeuchi Naoko's.

i think Tanemura Arina's artwork is absolutely amazing. Her details, coloring, expression, character designs... they're just fantastic.
Oh, and i love CLAMP's art for Chobits a lot. I love the art in chobits, probably CLAMP's best. =)
also, the mangaka who does Saiyuki, Wild Adaptor, etc is amazing. wow. i recently downloaded artbooks and i cant get over how amazing it is <3
well, i personally tend to pick my manga based on its art. and i tend to love the shoujo art a lot... so yeah. Sakai Mayu is a new mangaka i love because her art is so pretty - havent even read a lot of her stuff yet, i just own it all..... and look at it... haha.
and from what i can tell air gear's art is fantastic. though i havent really read it yet~

time for a thread revival!! I actually really like the art in Berserk, though most people would probly disagree with me.
Glados is a bitch. She made me kill the companion cube, the only friend I'll ever have. 😢
Chibidoro-sama=Neko-freak
Blade of the Inmortal
Vagabond
Vinland Saga
Gunnm
That is pretty much my top best drawn manga, maybe would add some i don´t remember right now in the future.
@xombiemonkey, i agree Berserk has good art.

Dogs and Dogs Bullets & Carnage has probably my favorite art. It's really high contrast and fluid art (almost entirely black and white) with clean strokes and gorgeous drawings. It manages to be macabre, unique and pretty 😀
Blade of the Immortal is quite the opposite 🙂 It's really sketchy and gritty and detailed, which gives a really interesting vibe to a historical story. The anatomy in the manga is amazing, and the mangaka's style complements the manga wonderfully.
Beast Master and Vampire Knight are both shoujos with pretty artwork and a great deal of detail 🙂
