We all know Tobi, the silly dude with a twisted mask thing. Who is he a lot of people ask. With the recent clue revealing Tobi having a Sharingan Eye. I think Tobi is Obito? His Sharingan eye in on the opposite side of Kakashi. Maybe?

Obito's whole side was crushed......?? well im not saying his NOT Obito but im just goign to say this, i HIGHLY doubt it...... cause it DOES say that his whole right side was crushed and he gave Kakkashi his left eye.... but meh,

if Kishi can pull off Obito being the "Shadow Leader" of akatsuki and a Uchiha... then maybe, jsut maybe... SOMEHOW its true? but i still say

OBITO IS NOT TOBI...I Think... maybe...dunno...

It would be really really cool if Tobi is actually really powerful. We'll just have to wait and see then. Anyone else?

Having a whole body crushed is nothing in naruto, isn't it?I believe it's Obito.Uchiha Madara would be too old for this(I think).Or maybe it's some new Uchiha.Or maybe Kishimoto plays wirh us and it's just someone who got Obito's eye after he died

madara would have to be ridiculously old, but kishimoto already brought out the age-old characters with kakuza. I woudln't think its a long shot to let tobi really be in some way madara

DEAD!! and can't be Madara because that would mean that he'd be about ... well, really REALLY OLD!! a dinosaur or maybe, i don't know, DEAD!... but if i had to choose between the possiblities, i would choose Obito. a more likable character when alive and AND i would say, more comprehensible to understand in situations regarding the yondaime's four-man team... the thoughts of maybe Obito DID live and the chances of healing him are slim, but this is akatsuki, we're talking about... oh, and i almost forgot, isn't Tobi one of the newer members of Akatsuki? ...

then is it save to assume that Tobi's history might be somewhat similar to Kakashi's Sharingan history.

If Tobi really is Obito, then he'd have to have lost his memory somehow. Would the Obito that we were introduced to earlier on really join the Akasuki?

There is no way that tobi is Obito Uchiha because why would he want to destory anything, he had no reason to. There are only 3 people left from the Uchiha Clan that have Sharingan still, Itachi Uchiha, Sasuke Uchiha, and Madara Uchiha (TOBI)
