Happy World was so damn horrible that I personally vow to NEVER read anything by Takeshita Kenjirou again.

Wanna know how bad it was? The story starts off with a plot hole. HOW THE HELL DO YOU START A STORY WITH A PLOT HOLE?

The characterization was even worse. An angel was actually going to kill off the main character JUST BECAUSE HE DISAGREED WITH HER! WHAT?

Hell, then the plot does the most bizarre and unneeded change I have ever read in anything. It goes from being a harem to a seinen without warning! It's like Takeshita couldn't think of how to end it as a harem, so he decided to make it a seinen by adding demons to the story and making the main character a half-angel. When it becomes a seinen, all these rules and powers come out of nowhere and totally contradict the earlier rules that were set and each other at the same time!

I kept reading it because I thought it was just a slow starter. THE MANGA DOESN'T EVEN GET REMOTELY ENJOYABLE UNTIL THE SECOND-TO-LAST VOLUME. And that's only because he does an arc about something that's been preached about for SO damn long: War Is Bad.

Please, whatever you do, don't read this manga. It will take anyway precious minutes of your life that you could be putting to good use (Like reading good manga)

Atsui Hibi - After reading the first chapter of this it made me never pick up another shoujo again.
For shounen it would be Happy World! because of the art and the constant bashing.
Also Mahou Shoujo Neko X for "Other".

first thing that comes to mind; Blue Dragon Ral Grado. first chap was cool and all. second chap onwards, lets just say the word i'd use to describe it just ain't appropriate here. but i guess thats what you'd expect from a manga meant to promote a game. an extremely rushed out story, resulting in weak shallow characters.only good thing about it is the art and fanservice, which amounts to not so much in my scale.

then Inuyasha. started off well enough, and it's quality degenerated all the way through after volume 20 or so. the main culprit: a repetitive formula. now, for any series having more than 3 arcs, its expected to have a sort of repetitive formula. but at least many has tried to fix this plot by adding something new, being REALLY unpredictable (Helllooo, Oda!), making the formula subtle, and anything at all to freshen it all up. Rumiko wasn't even trying. main plot points revealed later on in the series could have been introduced earlier, but no, she insists on unnecessarily stretching it all out. i'm no believer of "fillers" within a series that is released in its original media, but Inuyasha's an exception.

not exactly a worst series, but one that has fallen from grace (not so much as Inuyasha, of course....... YET), is Mahou Sensei Negima. ever since Negi starts learning kung fu, everything screams out "GENERIC!". one other flaw; Akamatsu isn't at all that good with action/fight scenes. for a start, his limbs all look stiff, resulting in non fluid movements/actions. another, is the over-abundance of style and flair (magic runes appearing in mid air, special effects, etc.) which all ends up as nothing more than mindless, and irrelevant. and then, there's the numerous rip offs from games and animes (Rei from BOF3 anyone?). this would have been fine if it was taken less seriously and more of a parody, but instead, he makes it an element of the story. and the newer recent characters are so bland and empty as personality goes. finally, Negi; i know he's just 10, but after all the lecture he's been given, all the experience he's gotten in the series, he's still an annoyingly, undecided, wishy washy, overly naive brat that he was in volume 1. i see NO development in his character at all other than his power level.

InuYasha: Omg, it translates into "procrastinate", does it?

Pastel: O M G how much i can hate a male protagonist. He deserves the worst from life, with his attitude: ok with the "purepure" boy, but there's a limit to also the dumbness level, it becomes angsty this way.

Mmm atm i dont recall any other baaad manga, so i'll leave it as it is.
