I think an interesting poll might be "What has manga inspired you to do or try?" Like cooking Japanese recipes, learning kanji, trying to draw art yourself, umm... researching Japanese history or watching Japanese movies, (I recommend the Samurai Trilogy), or writing fan fiction... You could come up with better ideas. I really enjoyed having a cherry blossom picnic... The possibilities are endless now I think of it. But that's my suggestion. Keep up the good work. I really enjoy your polls in the past! Karate, kendo, calligraphy, origami... (Or learning Japanese or learning about other countries generally...)

For what reason do you usually read a series you haven't read before?
-My friend recommended it to me.
-The summary looks interesting.
.-I'll read it as long as the users' reviews/comments are (mostly) positive.
-The art looks gorgeous!
-I want to explore new genres.
-It's the same mangaka as insert manga here!
-It's so popular! I want to read it to understand why so many people are obsessed with it!
-I tried it because it was suggested in the I'm Looking For... thread(s).
-It has such a high rating, so it must be good!
-I picked it randomly... no particular reason.

I didn't put "a mix of those listed" because it's obvious that most people would vote for that--that's why I put usually in the question. 😀

Haha, I didn't even think about those! Yeah, I guess sometimes, you could read a series just because of the cover (though I think that goes along with the art option) or the name. 😀

Maybe something like what attracts you to certain manga? For instance, pyschological/things that get you thinking, shounen/action, action and more action, shoujo/smut/yaoi or yuri/lovey-dovey hearts and romance ,sci-fi/horror/unusual, unique ideas, slice-of-life/(possibly josei)/real life, believable or career-driven stories or anything good you can get your hands on.
