It's used way too many times; we need to think of a more natural english equivalent, because it's too japanese-y to sound normal.
Am I the only one who gets annoyed whenever they read this? :/

What I kind of don't like, is the regular use of letting your sentences trail off which is very typical of Japanese-to-English translations like "Can it be that...?!" "It must be..." "That attack! It couldn't be..." "This feeling I'm having, is it..."

It just sounds unnatural in English, I think.

About the topic, I do hate that "Masaka...", I know its impossible in english but it gets on my nerves everytime I hear it in an anime...

And everytime someone has a thought, and another character asks her (it is always a her), she goes "Mmm, Nanda mu neyo/naino.." talking about dashing hopes down..

Itadakimasu is a thing you say before eating, like bon apetit, or 'let's eat', or something like that; I dunno, there's not a good english equivalent.
Tadaima means 'I'm here' or 'I'm home'.
I agree, both those are said a lot... but I don't think they're overused.

I meant isn't Thanks for your hard work! a common accompany line while leaving work like that accompany lines at starting/finishing eating or coming home?

The thing is that its an etiquette that is inbuilt in the culture itself which is why most anime/mangas contain them.. in a discussion about how customs officers treat passengers in airports, one friend pointed out, he loved the reception in Japan. I asked why, and he said that they hand your passport back with both hands holding it and head bowed. He was very surprised at how contrastingly polite they are to their peers around the world 😀

Anyway, i dont think it would be fair to include part of culture & language etiquette things like -
yorishikun ("Please take care of me" or "Pleased/nice to meet you"), Tadaima ("I'm home"), Okaeirenasai ("welcome back home" or "You are home") etc

It would be pretty much like "Sorry", "Thank You", "Much obliged/appreciated" in English...
