I tend not to like shoujo too much because it freaks me out, i can only read it because it has shounen in it but is there anything similar to this manga it is very appealing to me

also if it has romance in it it is a bounus but it has to be actiony like fighting monsters

You might not entirely like it but I would suggest Yankee to Megane-chan. It has a bunch of action and a little light almost romance. But it is really funny, a delinquent as the class representative.

I think Bara no Maria has a rather similar feel to 1/2 Prince (genderbending, action, RPG scenerios?). xD

Yuki Kaori does a lot of actiony shoujo, most have hint of shonen-ai but they have a lot more serious feel.

my comments on those suggestions above (since i have read most of them)

what most like 1/2 price would be Yureka since it, like 1/2 price is about gaming fantasy. however, i must remind you, the group stop the scanation for a quite long time.... i too myself are still waiting for someone to pick it up...

the second in the list would be ID since its setting is more of a fantasy rpg than the others i have read.

Superior and Bara no Maria are common fantasy genre type stories. however, though common they might be, theyre pretty nice also. Superior is pretty much hero vs devil scenario with bara no maria being a common action packed manga (kinda like black cat, though different setting with different weapons and such)

basara... ive read half a chapter before.... the art pissed me off...

anyways, be warned, the groups for yureka, superior, and bara no maria all seems to have been dropped. id still have a slow as hell release from kmt as always...

Hmm, I've been looking for something like this too. Not many has the same feelling or plot quality as 1/2 Prince. I think Yureka is the closest one. You might want to try Ubel Blat (it's more seinen dan shoujo), I think the plot is quite interesting.

well don't let the art for Basara stop you from reading it. It doesn't really get super better (since its a super old manga), but the story is good enough to disregard the old style. Do give it a try and not focus too much on how it looks so different from what you're probably used to reading.
