yup, i agree that he would probably save kaein,dang i wish kein did not die, cause he's an interesting and funny character,but ukitake respected and understand kaien that kaein must fight to protect his wife's honor, so ukitake and rukia didn't help at all during the fight.

That's understandable.. I thought that too.. But she never was a captain I'm sure of it.. There are three sections in Soul Society.. The Gotei 13, The Special Forces and the Kidou corps.. Though there's very little information about the latter..

Yoruichi trained to be the leader of the Special Forces, and never had any aspiration to being a captain in the Gotei 13..

Also the leader of the Special Forces is equivalent to the commander-general of Gotei 13, in terms of status..

And just because she's strong, doesn't mean she has to be a captain.. Example: Kuukaku Shiba, and the Royal Guards of the Spirit King..

i guess the latest chapter puts the argument of yoruichi being a captain or not to rest
