i really like shoujo, romance, mature, smut, a bit of comedy
i really liked shinshi doumei cross, uwasa no midori-kun, moe kare!, love monster, etc, so help me out please!!!

Azumanga Daioh both anime and manga are great
Yotsubato! really lighthearted

All these aren't romancey but they're more comedy

Shakugan No Shana the anime especially, it's seinen but it has a dash of action, school life, slice of life and romance.

EDIT: Bamboo Blade is really good, but I liked the anime better (anime is complete)

Genshiken is also good, it's about otaku life. Really funny.

You might want to try Kyou Koi wo Hajimemasu or Akuma to Love Song, Also Black Bird is very similar to Love monster.
