Hah. Yeah, I don't think the TC is looking for purely artistic changes. (I just skimmed through the first vol of second season out of curiosity and he's exactly the same! useless shounen protagonist)
No, Rosario to Vampire would count, per the the request.
After Moka's blood starts affecting Tsukune in the first series, he most definitely takes a level in badass, to the point where he's arguably the second most powerful character in their group, next to Moka's other side.
