i want it to include
romance
betrayal
heart break
unrequited love
no death tho
maybe with a happy ending at the end

i want something something that will absolutely break my heart then have an happy ending too ease it

Onani Master Kurosawa kinda had it but wasn't heart breaking enough and the ending was so so

Doubt (TONOGAI Yoshiki) was too bloody and had death in it so it didn't meet my full criteria

oh and absolutely no Shoujo i don't like that kind of drama

I actually cried when I read later vols of 7 Seeds, no idea if it's what you want though.

It's still ongoing, so dunno if it will have happy end or not. I read it up to vol 13, so far this story can break my heart at one point and at other time it redeems itself. From my fuzzy memory, there's some death. though not main charas.

read bitter virgin that was pretty good but not enough to break me down into tears of sadness or happiness

oh yeah no josei, yaoi, shoujo, shounen ai, yuri, and shoujo ai

shoujo manga is not heart breaking to me its more of the "who gets with who and triangle romance dramas" too much stupid wasted tension

and the art style can be any kind but prefer sticking to non-shoujo styled art

ai-ren sounds promising

for the note : what got me into 7 seeds isn't the romance, it's more survival story after all. The mangaka has other purposes for creating this manga than telling some love story. The romance is there, but it's minimal.

Yuuri's right. 7 seeds is HIGHLY recommended. and so is Basara. They may be shoujo but they're VERY VERY VERY good shoujo. Also try C-Blossom - Case 729.

Other heart wrenching mangas..
I cant help but recommend Mother Sarah, it's so damn good..T^T tragic and beautiful at the same time.

I'm also recommending Hokuto no ken if you havent read it. Ok, the art is a bit unbearable for some people but it's a good post apocalyptic, martial art (minimal but a bit romance as a driving plot device) classic manga.

Shiki, Island and Ikigami have similar 'psychological tones' to Doubt and onani kurosawa.

why? Because it focuses on msytery, human psychology and survival.
