alright we all know whats that feeling once we gotten a manga that is like god-like.. and couldn't stop reading it, so its like a picture book form of crack. So was thinking what would happen if you just randomly found one, and skip many chapters ahead and see what it got. So would you read it from there Or start from the beginning, also any manga you read already, do you start from the beginning again or the best part?

Reading something I don't know from anywhere but the start makes no sense; so obviously, my answer is I choose the beginning.
With a comic I already read, however, I have the tendency to only read the most awesome parts. A really odd example is volume 36 of Dragonball. I don't know just how many times I read that. It oozes this slife-of-life feeling I so like to see in comics.

if i saw the anime, and the series kept going, i start from where it stops, otherwise i read all of it.

._. I read it from the beginning. Isn't that common sense to do that?

The only time I start manga from the middle or from some other point that is not the beginning is when I don't have or don't own the first volume :/ Wait actually I think I started some story in the middle or skimmed the beginning Fruits Basket.

the beginning always, but lately i've been reading one piece as it comes out every week and it's been alot more interesting than when i tried to start at the beginning
Basically, I read from where there are scanlations available, since most of them go through published order, it's since the beggining, but if there aren't any available from the first volumes but there are some from later ones, I still read those. 🤣

Read from the beginning. No matter how boring or stupid it is, I can't skip it. Which in point, can be bad, because I suffered the boring daily arc from Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn!, and it literally took me 1 year to get past it, but when I did, I read to the latest scanlation of the manga within 1 week.

In manga I would never skip any part. You wouldn't get the entire story, thus not making much sense.
In anime versions of manga, I skip to action because I already know the plot.
Same as Kashi...I always read from the start unless I started with the anime...which is rare nowadays

If a random bit of it looks cool, I'll go back and start at the beginning. But with series that I've already read through once I'll sometimes go back and re-read the best parts. 🙂

I prefer reading from the beginning in order to find out if the story is going anywhere.
If it's good, I'll stick to the manga until the last chapter; otherwise, I'll pass.
See ya!
