to takiko, its really hard to stop smoking, but after the process, which took me a few months, no thanks to friends and dad, i stopped.
But the urge to continue to smoke always comes no matter how long after you've stopped, depends on will power. I have to admit the feeling feels great, but the smell sucks and im an evironmental person (funny i know) the world is so messed up right now and its is going to end soon and smoke from cigarettes is helping the process. >:-( Plus i live in australia, so my country is going to end from the drought soon or get flooded and we will have to migrate by the yr 2010....that's what my bio teacher said haha. anyways im so off topic.

I live in the countryside where most people i know either sell or buy illegal drugs...and ive tried a few, when i was younger i thought canabis was natural so i toked it, and my friends mum gave me a bong for my bday too haha (shes a hippie..) until i found out its as bad as cigarettes. (all the chemicals) i still smoke it sometimes but not that much, i like it how you just laugh at things that arnt even funny and ur concious of it but u laugh at it anyways...and fireworks are extra facinating as well. DONT DO DRUGS, its a waste of money, think of all things u can get with the money you spend on drugs

I'm glad there are so many non-smokers around 😀, it's even worse than drugs imo because it's dangerous for everyone around you (see passive smoking), and think of all the stuff you can do with that money <_<

If you guys want to live healthier, why don't you stop eating meat, it's also bad for your health, vegetarian is much more better, you will live longer. But my point is, whether your life or other people's life regrettable or not, its up to each person to decide it.

I'm totally against drugs, however I don't agree that smoke is on the same dangerous level like drugs. Many murder case involving drug addicted man, even a drunk man is more dangerous because they may lost their sanity. But did some of this happen to a smoker? I dislike alcohol, It taste bad, and if I drink too much, I going to be like this 🤢 .

@HeavennevaeH: I dont know where do you live, but I think many country has prohibited smoking in public area and buildings. At my univercity in the first year, I can smoke in the Cafeteria, because there was a smoking area in the corner, and also there were some smoking area inside the building, but now they have totally prohibited smoking inside the building. I really hate to smoke on the street in winter.

Having saying all of that, yet this year I quit smoking, it's not easy but once you pass a months without cigar, theoritically your body already lost its addiction, but remember once you smoke, you mind will always hunger for it, for how long? I don't know, I've heard stories, about some middle aged man, who started to smoke again after like 10-15 years.

I could still remember how much I hate the smell, even though it feels good, and also coffee could never taste the same without a cigar XD.

Nope, I do not smoke nor will I ever, but I'm the only one in my house who doesn't. Makes me feel out numbered, 4>1. This is one of the main reasons I stay in my room with the door closed.
