You know I've heard it was a legend too! But there are quite a few (around 350 a year) accounts on people who actually died from lung cancer!

Around here old women have the superstition tha if girl on their period wash their hair they will get crazy and if you eat the watermelon's seed it will grow in your belly.

Normaly I spit them but when I am tired I just swallow them, bergamot's too and when I make juyce I put with seed and all in the blender 🤣 .
And another around here goes that if you eat directly from the pot it will rain in your wedding and if you sweep your feet you will not get marryed. Last one I can remember, if salt falls on the ground there will be quarrel in the family.

A couple of girls (daughters of my dad's friend) told me as a child, that if you burp too much, it'll ruin your stomach and that they'll have to do surgery on it. 😐 For a while, I tried to refrain from burping. 🙄

I was pretty damn scared as a kid when I heard this. Since then I've googled it and found out it is a popular Halloween legend.

My mommy and daddy once told me Santa didn't exist. I told them to be quiet cuz I get presents every year and it says "From Santa" on them. How do you explain that? Pfft. Crazy grown ups >.>
